180man pushing ranges

Hey guys,

I am trying to improve my pushing ranges so I need ur help. SNGwiz helps me to adjust my ranges and I use chipEV before final table and $ev at ft.

I am keen on this spot where my pushing range is very wide. Do you shove ATo here even its kinda break-even shove beucase of small DiffC? If no, whats ur range at these kinda spots, where u have deep stack and eff is over 15bb?

I'll push ATo here but wouldn't do that with T8s so im a bit confused by that given range.
ATo is bottomish here though.

Also, use $Ev voor last 2 tables.

ATo is a fold me in that spot w 15bb's. I dont care if shoving happens to be slightly +Cev its just not worth the risk imo

Re: 180man pushing ranges

folding is fine, with a few more short stacks, you could minraise with the intention of calling the shorties.

also if you have marked regs, you could minraise with 15 bbs to rep the nuts, and fold to a shove/3bet etc.

but if you dont wanna play difficult, just fold, its completly fine too

i personally dont really shove anything at this spot with 15 bbs, only middle pairs, everything else i minraise : P

It makes no sense to me. Risk is a part of the game and if it is + chip ev then it is profitable. Range of fishes could be even more tight, so it is more profitable.

Im trying to look at these spots mathematically, not with fear of bad running, luck adjustment and so on.

Re: 180man pushing ranges

I do shove ATo/AJs in this situation but I have a hard time seing myself shoving QJ/Q9+/J9+/T8+ tbh. I usually shove those kind of suited connectors at 10bb or less UTG. Maybe I'm not doing right... Btw, is sng wiz free? I never used it and was wondering whats the difference with nash calculator?

Re: 180man pushing ranges

Getting ATo in here. It's kinda close, but seems like it's around the bubble + cEV + when in doubt in 180s => Shove ffs

Re: 180man pushing ranges

SNG Wiz works woth the calling ranges asigned to the villains. At BB 1000 you are ITM and seated at the semi FT. If I have just min cashed I will tighten up my pushing/calling ranges because shorties are gonna get wild trying to double up. So those ranges given by SNG Wiz are very underestimated. In that case ATo is a slight favourite against calling ranges of opponents. Fish and donks will call very wide because many of them are not acquainted with bubble factor concept and do not adjust their game which makes pushes with marginal hands (what ATo with 15 bb behind and UTG in reality is imo) unprofitable. Your stack is a good one and you can wait for better spots. My push range is AJ+, 88+ with AJ min raise and fold to big stacks but player dependent. AQ+ and any pair except KK+ push.
