preflop: ok

flop: check behind, as played b/f, SB is check/shoving multi-way, also his flat pre looks trappy

don't show results

agree with above poster.

Also, include how many people are left in spots like this, esp since youre using a converter that doesnt give chip counts and its a rebuy.

I notice we are seven-handed. What is the situation wrt pay jumps?

It's tempting to say "fold because SB probably has something like AK" i.e. don't show results (come back and post them a couple of days later, also a good opportunity to say thanks for advice).

I agree with mktppr. Flatting 12BB is pretty suspicious.

on the flop. I dunno about the bet - I think it's only good if you have reads that villains are going to have random weak unpaired hands a lot that have 25% equity against you but can't call a bet, stats don't look like that but maybe you have seen showdowns. Definitely fold to the raise. You can't beat any of his value hands and you are behind some of his semi-bluffs (like the hand he actually had).

pre-flop would we call a shove?

I don't expect this to be a mainstream opinion but when you are out of position like this and antes are in play you can also jam AJs into these stack sizes (BB is CSI of 8.4 BTN is 7.23).

I'm calling, we have very good odds here and can actually be ahead, also if we loose it doesn't affect our stack much. we only have 34 hands on him so its hard for us to draw conclusions about his range really well. even when he shows up with AKs were not that far behind if you put our odds into consideration

calling here just seems to be the classic "i'm calling because I can afford it" situation. There's no reason to give up the chips when you can easily find yourself in a better spot.
