180 SnG 'Open raise Chart'? 180 SnG 'Open raise Chart'?

Hello!

I am back again with another noobie question.

Is there any chart i can use for different positions and different hands (A open-raise chart)?

I am currently using the "Upswing Poker, Full Ring MTT Chart" but i am not sure if there is a better chart out there for SnG's.

Any help is appreciated!

What are the ranges on the chart? We can let you know what we think.

LoJack: 55+/A2s+/AJo+/K9s+/KQo/Q9s+/J9s+/T8s+/98s/87s/76s.

HighJack: Almost same as LoJack, add; 44/ATo/KJo/QJo/97s.

CutOff: 22+/A2s+/ATo+/K8s+/KTo+/Q8s+/QTo+/J8s+/JTo/T8s+/86s+/76s/65s/54s.

BTN: A2s+/A2o+/K3s+/K9o+/Q5s+/Q9o+/J6s+/J9o+/T6s+/T9o/96s+/85s+/76s-75s/64s-65s/54s/43s.

SB: A2s+/A2o+/K2s+/K8o+/Q4s+/Q8o+/J6s/J8o+/T6s+/T8o+/95s+/98o/84s+/74s+/63s+/53s+/43s/32s

Alright there we go. Took awhile but that looks about right. Please give me feedback if you think i should use this chart or switch it up or something.

Thanks!

It's a bit looser than I play but it looks fine for what I call "4-bet stacks" i.e. where a 4-bet would be all-in.

If you are playing 3-bet stacks it is probably a bit loose (as you will not be able to protect yourself from jams) but that doesn't matter if people aren't jamming on you much.

The thing that looks strange at least to me is that the SB range is wider than the BTN range which I've always thought shouldn't be the case unless we are talking about "2-bet stacks" (i.e. open jam). Interested in comments from others on if they play wider from the SB than the BTN. Against people not defending enough - i.e. most people, it's fine.

I'd say with all those suited connectors the important thing is to remember you played them
A) to take down the blinds and antes, and
B) to flop draws to the nuts for semi-bluffing and not
C) to flop middle pair and bluff-catch.

because beginners are tempted to do C) over several streets when probably one street is enough.

"If you are playing 3-bet stacks it is probably a bit loose".
Not sure what you mean by that (Sorry, still a noobie) but i don't 3bet so much, i only 3bet in some spots (Range for my 3bets would be TT+ AQs+ and to balance it out i usually do JTs, T9s, 98s and 78s.
The problem is i don't have a 3bet chart so i have NO clue if these 3bet hands are good (It obviously depends on position, stacks and such too).

Yes, i have a HUGE, HUUUGE problem with taking flops with suited connectors because i hate losing pots so unless my suited connectors flop really good, i will try and bluff out the other player.
3 out of 4 times i lose a SnG is because i out myself.. I bluff and create a perfect pot for a river shove and they always call with top pair or some other one pair hand and i am out. I hate losing a pot but that 1 time the bluff goes through it feels sooo good.
Though the past couple of weeks i've tried to stop bluffing and i don't mind losing a hand here and there with those suited connecters. I say give me a week and i will be really disciplined. I really want to improve as a poker player but i feel stuck when i don't have a chart to start with. Maybe that's not the way to play poker as a beginner but i really feel stuck without someone to ask for "tips and tricks". Maybe it's time to save up for a cheap coach haha.
