180-man sngwiz calling edgeC?

Hi,

What kind of edgeC are You using when reviewing hands in SngWiz when you are in spots where should decide to call/fold?
When its about jamming first in I always put 0, but not sure what is correct edgeC when I got call/fold all in decision.

And how does it changes when antes comes in or we are at FT?

Theoretically if you use 0 edge for shoving spots, you should use 0 for calling spots as well.

Personally I like to net myself roughly >= a SB. Some people will tell you 1 chip is enough, others will tell you its not worth risk even for a BB or more (clearly a leak).

I also feel that the less confident you are in your opponents shoving range, the larger the EdgeC you want to give yourself to account for error in the range you assign. Conversely, the more confident you are in the villains shoving range, the thinner you can call.

As for FT calls, I'm much more concerned with whether my call will bank me extra $ than if it will bank me extra chips.

I like to set up edges that compensates the risk im taking in certain spots or; in other words, how many big blinds im putting in the middle, the bigger my stack the bigger i need the edge to be to compensate this and viceversa, the shorter i am the less edge i would be needing.

With 5bb its horrible to set up any edge at all cuz ur basically gambling any edges with 1 chips earned have to take it, even spots that are slightly negative you have to take it like where you´re UTG and the blinds are about to go up and you´re also about to hit the blinds in the next hand, taking slightly -cEV plays are considered ok cuz of the fold equity we´re loosing in future hands.
With 12bb or more i would say it depends on the situation but basically anything above half a small blind its acceptable.
Also remember that these days turbos SNGs are getting tougher and tougher increasing their variance and reducing the amount of profit available for us to gain so we are force to take smaller edges everytime.
