Really dont like this call fold on flop l. im almost always folding on most flops and i have reverse implied odds on other axx flops although i trust myself not to stack of at this stack depth on these. think i prefer a 3 bet pre? but this would compress hes range to hands that have me crushed if he decides to call. but then i have an ace and therefore a blocker to better Ax's? thoughts please

I would flat or fold based on reads. Its not suited the guy is raising from early position it just isn't a good spot and your hand isnt that strong especially oop.

A 10 isn't a hand you want to be playing OOP

definitely would not be 3betting here, were not getting better hands to fold and worse hands would not be calling us so 3betting pre doesn't accomplish anything positive. We get great odds to call and its pretty straight forward to play post flop, so i would be flatting against most villains

I would never 3bet here for the reasons stated above.
I would fold. Villain's 13/13 so his range from that position is going to crush us. Lots of reverse implied odds with ATo. Not much good can come from playing that hand oop against a TAG player.

That he's played 2/15 hands isn't enough to know he's 13/13 - but readless I fold here anywhere - he should certainly be tight in this position.

I wasn't suggesting that he was actually 13/13; 15 hands is obviously a tiny sample size. But if hes only played 2 out of 15 hands we can assume he's on the tight side since loose players are at their loosest in the first 3 levels.

^ Ok, but if he's really been playing for example the top 25% of hands then you would observe him playing 2 or less out of 15 hands 23.61% of the time* - so we don't even know if he's playing tight at the moment. It would be more useful to know about those two hands and how he played them / was anything shown down. The sample is enough to know be pretty sure he isn't a 70/10 kind of player but we don't have much more than that yet.

He should be tight from that position though so that's enough to go on to assume ATo is a fold pre.

* This is an approximation as it assumes all 15 hands have an equally likely chance to be played when actually he will have a different range in the different positions.
