Posted my first post in the wrong section.

Sorry I don't have Hold Em' Manager or Pokertracker, but I wanted to share a hand that I had a decision to make. The chip stacks are an approximation.

$3.50 18 man turbo on Pokerstars-10 player left-Blinds 200-400 ante 50 (I believe).

5 players at the table

UTG-folds
UTG+1 1500 chips-raises to 800
BTN- Goes all in for 2400
SB-Folds
Hero in the BB-3400 chips has Aj and FOLDS
UTG+1-calls

What this the correct move? I said that I would call any shove, but I changed my mind when it was raised and re-raised and I didn't want to end up on the final table short stacked, so I folded.

UTG+1 had 66
BTN had a10

Board: 23j105

Was this a good fold? Or was it way too nitty? Thanks

I don't play 18 man's but this looks like a call to me, we have a 4bb and 6bb stack getting it in. They're ranges are likely to be very wide so I'd happily call here

This was my initial gut feeling and I kind of went against it once it was min raised and then shoved. I should have gone with my gut.

I don't have those programs either but you can get a hand history direct out of stars and convert it using the 2+2 converter when you are starting a new thread.

It's an effective all in of CSI 2 from the CO, and BTN is very short too with CSI 3. This is ok to call especially with the odds in your favour. You are putting in 2000 and the main pot will be 4950, side pot 1800 - so you only really need 3 clean outs. Occasionally you will be up against a stronger Ace from one of them but then if the other hand is a lower pair even that's fine. A lot of the time (like here) you will have 5 or 6 clean outs and the cases where you are drawing very thin (against AA or against AK+QQ) are going to be pretty rare.
