10bb QQ minraise
Is minraiseing in this spots a good alternative to pushing?

Re: 10bb QQ minraise
Shove or minraise is fine. Id min raise, but ppl are dodgy about reshoving a 10BB stack light

Re: 10bb QQ minraise
he called you with J7... this should be information enough to realise minr is better in this spot.

Shove vs regs.
I prefer shoving vs fish too. I don't want him to flat a minraise with A8 when he'd clearly call a jam with it.

Re: 10bb QQ minraise
shove pre, min-raising here is really bad, it could only work in very specific situations and I don't think this one applies here

Also, shoving balances your big hands with your more marginal bottom of range type hands. Just shove it

I want him to flat with J7 when he clearly wouldn't call a jam with it.

Balancing is extra-ordinarily overrated. Especially given this is a $1 tournament.
I'd say the only MTSNG where balance should even be considered is $60 180's/$60 45mans. Definitely NOT in $1 hypers

Re: 10bb QQ minraise
Just shove. You're letting in a lot of bad hands A-x, K-x hands in that would fold to a shove.

which is bad because?
(yes 30% of time an A or K will fall, other 70% we have the nuts)

Yeh hate that, always openshipping Jacks when 150bb deep cause else i have to fold preflop if there's a Queen or w/e on the board.
I like the minraise at these stakes, even though it's nutsy as hell (but they won't pay attention to that)

Re: 10bb QQ minraise
Minraise pre if you think you can play perfectly on an A or K high flop. Otherwise shove.
