Dunno if could have played different pf. Villain is 41/18 over 80 hands, mostly from semi ft and ft.

As played, we can't call here right?

I would raise that hand preflop. River is probably fine to fold.

I thought about raising pre flop, but it would be meaningless since villain is calling with 100% of his opening range, so I decided to c/r if the flop hits or c/f otherwise.

preflop: mandatory raise to 1350, your reasoning is incorrect, sorry

flop: as played, just call, we're in pot control mode because of our huge mistake preflop

turn: as played, bet much bigger to 2500

river: as played, (edit) b/f to 2600

as played, c/f

If villain is 41% preflop, why can't he have worse aces? Or KT type hands that don't understand pot control and think, "He didn't bet river so 2nd pair is always good bet bet bet"?

BTW I also think you should raise pre. Even if this V sticks around, you may get the 3rd player to fold, and like I said, he has worse aces he'll call with. (worse Q's too.) Only time I'd think about checking pre is on the bubble where I was a medium stack and he's a big one who will call anything, giving us no FE and we'd have to hit or fold to a flop bet.

^ yeah looking at it again I would b/f river, as played I would still c/f

I disagree with you about checking AQ to a limp preflop, even in bubble spot like you mentioned

are you checking AA to a limp pre in your example?

AA I'll stack off pre on bubble, but I'm envisioning a scenario with 8 left, say we have 10BB, V has 25, and couple shorties under 5. If I know V never folds pre, we'll jam and gii with 60-65% equity, but idk if it is icm-smart. I only get the 3 free icmizer looks a day, but I'll play around sometime and see what this shakes out to be.

The guy os a calling station and limped medium pairs lots of times, so I was playing just value against him. And when this kind of fish pots the river Im inclined to think that he hitted the board hard.

Lately im running so bad that its affecting my game reasoning. Thanks for the replies. After taking a better look at the hand it was easy to see the mistakes in all the streets.
