It's pretty good, but I don't think there's been a bad launch trailer in the history of WoW. I do like that they are really ****ing with people's expectations that Varian is gonna die.

Had a WoW token stored around my bank, so resubbed for a month since I had a month off. I had some unfinished business. I wanted to finish the Molten Front dailies, and the Merrymaker achieve (I was just pelting a gnome mage with a snowball from completing it [I was also thinking that was all I was away from the Violet Proto-Drake, but forgot I have neglected Summer Fire Festival]). More than ever it is clear Blizzard has practically killed WoW by only releasing one major content patch this expansion. Hellfire Citadel isn't a bad raid, but I was already bored of it before I resubbed. I'm just not seeing a big sustained leap with legion.

(Also seeing how I am on a PvP server, more than ever there are people who are bored and just looking to troll. Spawning at Cavern of Times, or at the Shrine is just taking a deep breath and crossing fingers)

Man this forum looks dead AF. I have a 110 beta alliance shaman, was hoping some 2p2ers would have access to party up for some content. ak13#1710

A year or so ago there was discussion in the thread about the forum being dissolved. I don't think anyone disagreed it should be removed, but yet it remains.

But I am now a little tilted I don't have beta after months of HFC.

Haven't played in a long time [1yr+], but i just checked Wowtoken prices and see that they've have been going up linearly since they came out. Is this due to inflation in WoW currency or something else?

I figure just general inflation. Numbers dwindle when there is a lull in expansions. So the number of people buying the tokens go down. While the people like me who are subbing just from garrison gold pretty much stay the same.

So my gold is worth half as much as it was when I quit playing? World of Warcraft

Who knows what will happen when Legion comes out. But at the moment it appears so.

Blizz sells tokens in the Blizzard store you can buy for $20.00 that give a month of gametime. People buy them and sell them on the AH as a legit way of buying gold. Currently the NA price is 47K gold per token.

I'm surprised it has gone up and up and up but considering there's no reason to keep playing recently I guess it makes sense.

Yeah I probably would of unsubbed a year ago. But running old raids and mount farming is a popular drunk activity for me.

There are still casual guilds doing Mythic progression.

272 wipes on Mythic Mannaroth before downing it last night. Got to Phase 3 of Archimonde after an hour of attempts, but I'm sure that's where the real challenge begins.

TY. I remember now; they came out with this feature around the time I stopped.

FWIW, beta has been literally unplayable on multiple occasions because of phasing issues. You can't see NPCs to complete quests or take flights.

They've totally gone back on shorter cycles now.

"Yeah, we don't know wtf we were thinking. Game too hard. We're not going to be rushing out expansions on a yearly basis. Back to the TBC model we go!"

I watched it twice and loved it. Every scene was made with the fans in mind. A sequel seems quite likely and I can't wait. I give infinite respect to Duncan for staying 99% true to the source material. The movie is a near carbon copy of the 1994 RTS game. The only issue that I had to shrug off was Doomhammer being a Frostwolf, but it definitely made the movie flow better overall. The high point for me was the flyover of the seige of Redridge Mountains. The Gul'dan v Durtotan fight was also perfect. It was a great interpretation of something that "may have happened".

There was so much press about bad acting, but I think it was fine. Lothar was flat in a few spots but nothing terrible. I saw it with my gf the first time and 100% understand why they added in the Lothar-Garona love interest and the Lothar son death scene. Those aspects seemed like throwaways to me, but the gf mentioned that she liked them. She played WoW but was unaware of the RTS story going into the movie and she still loved it. I think the complaints about the plot moving too fast were over exaggerated. The real challenge will be translating Warcarft II and III to movie format...there are waaaay more important plot points in those storylines. Warcraft II could easily be two movies and III could easily be a standalone trilogy.

I just watched it and enjoyed it. The Chinese box office result almost guarantees multiple sequels. Just hope they don't take as long to make.

Warcraft is actually crushing everywhere (with very short tail) except in the US.

This really could just be a cultural thing where video games just aren't quite as socially acceptable as comic books quite yet in the US.
