Not sure how much longer this exploit is going to be available, but I just did it now and can confirm it works. Change your currency to Brazilian Dollars and the conversion works out such that you can do a character transfer for as little as $10-$11. Not sure if the other character services like boost work. It also works for game time I guess (or at least used to?)

yea we are planning to do this soon , my guild was looking to change servers but aint happening to many ppl dont want to go which sucks

paladin tanks get wacked pretty hard from what I've seen lol, they need like externals in a few spot :O

Passed the million gold mark today. Transferring servers and back definitely was a good way to make some gold. Unfortunately i got 2 3-hour suspensions for trying to sell mounts in trade on the lower pop realm, even though i spaced out my adds by 10-15 minutes. I guess some people just automatically report ppl selling TCG mounts.

I tank as a pally and for the most part this is true but if our damage reduction buff is off for more than 3 melee hits it can get hairy. This shouldn't happen but obviously it does from time to time.
If I was a healer I'd probably look into an add-on that showed current damage reduction abilities on the tank so if he was naked I could proactively throw a big heal or two.

This is what I am trying to get through to my raid

The only healing i receive apparently is incidental aoe healing and a "few " spot heals , they are used to healing a DK and a bear . So I spike only cause they expecting me to self heal, unless my WoG is at 5 stacks lawls...

Joined a sort-of pug last night to kill a few mythic bosses, god that was painful. I've never done Mythic kargath until last night but I figured out pretty early that I could disengage+posthaste away for the first 10 seconds before throwing up deterrance and winning, but these hunters would just stand there in fire, deterrance then hope to get hop'd before dying. jesus. On Twins, they literally stood in everything and half the raid was dead within the first 2 minutes..

We took a break after the trash on Brackenspore but before we pulled the boss. A couple of us killed about half the raid by swapblastering them in to the water. It ticks for 40k per second.

Hopefully I do well in the new raid. Basically have a few week left on my trial and right now I haven't done anything overwhelmingly amazing. This week was definitely an improvement over last week though. Guess my guild is running three heroic runs next week to try and get tier pieces on mains as quickly as possible.

Woot, got my AotC today. I am still a baddie and probably didnt deserve it...but well I got to watching a mythic guild leaders twitch. His guild does a heroic alt run filling the rest of the spots with viewers. Wiped on Butcher once, Ko'Ragh twice, but that was it. I might of been some pretty much bottom of charts dps, but I did generally live dammit.

So just a heads-up. I did the BRL character transfer trick and my account was banned the next day for "exploitive behavior".

I don't know if the BRL thing was the cause since Blizzard doesn't give details on these things. I don't do anything sketchy on my account though so not sure what else there is. The worst thing I do is a bit of AHK milling on my 2nd account while I play, but I didn't get a "Botting" ban so I doubt that is it.

I was able to successfully appeal the ban and got my account back. So, all is good, but just wanted to give people a warning who may be considering it.

Pestered GM's for more information and the BRL thing never came up. They said I had multiple "flags" common to hackers / spammers since I had done 3 transfers in a short time span and had been moving large sums of gold / goods each time.

So, maybe it caused the account to be reviewed or something, but they didn't say don't do that again or anything.

Solid work blizz. Implement transfers with artificially low gold caps, ban accounts who figure out ways around ridiculously low gold transfer cap. Because server economies.

All the really stupid things they do wrt server economies makes a lot more sense when you realize they've never hired an economist to help with the details of their in-game economy.

i'm surprised i didn't get a similar ban. I had 2 3 hour suspensions for "spamming" in the span of a week and was transferring over a million gold in TCG mounts/trade goods.
