Someone had a website that showed prices for various items across different servers, don't remember what it was though.

MMO-Champion Forums

I find these forums to be very helpful - a lot of the information comes from the Elitist Jerks Forums but the people on MMO-Champ are usually willing to help you out on a case by case basis without being well.... elitist jerks. But don't worry, it's got its fair share of trolls too.

The MMO-Champion site itself is a good place to find a consolidation of the latest goings-on of the World of Warcraft. Patch notes, etc.
rawr is a good tool to optimize your gear. I haven't used it since Wrath though. Just google it.

Rawr has been really funky since the patch. For some reason, if it was loading my hunter, it kept telling me to reforge into dodge..

WoW Gem Finder

This is an awesome site if you're looking for gems. It allows you to filter just about every aspect to find the gem you're looking for. You can filter by Color, Rarity, the stat(s) they provide, JC-only, etc. Bookmark this one for sure.

I don't know if this is worthy of a resource link, but I do use this page quite a lot.

It's a list of enchants by slot and I almost always refer to it when I get a new piece of gear and I am unsure what my enchanting options are.

The Undermine Journal is awesome.

It allows you to analyze data like this: Shadowsong Gem Prices

That links tells me exactly what each gem is selling for on my server, so I always know the next most profitable recipe to buy with my JC notifications.
