Don't really understand what was going on in the scenario at all, but it only took a few minutes and was the epitome of faceroll. Seems pretty pointless to me, unless maybe there's some huge lore thing I'm missing since idgaf about lore

It's available, but I thought the same thing.

It was a faceroll, kill a couple mobs, get a 384 ilvl purple and a FoS.

You should have gotten the Feat of Strength, but I have run it twice and seen nothing but trash greens drop randomly.

Got 2 chests with fireworks in them.

The chests randomly contain 384 epics, but not everytime. No idea what the drop rate is. I'm guessing it's 1/3 (as in one person in the group gets a drop) and it's always suitable to your spec.

Overall the scenario was lame, I was expecting something a bit more epic. Not in terms of the scale / difficulty, but like, lorewise even, it's nothing interesting. I thought it would feel more like you are playing a big part in the event...

I don't even know why they bothered putting loot in, it's not like the loot matters at all a week before the expansion. It's probably just to dampen some of the whining about how pointless it is I guess.

So, after cata started, when you zoned into LK zones, you saw bolvar or whoever sitting on the frozen throne accepting his new position as the lich king.

Does that mean we'll see a different loading screen for cata zones come next tuesday?

There are already some new load screens in the game. The Scenario one was new. Also I think at least a couple of the loading screens say "Mists of Pandaria" instead of Cataclysm.

Last night my Pennance ticks were hitting mobs for about 3.5k each. Now they hit for 1500. What happened?

Hm, if I'd known I was going to inexplicably do 75% less damage today than I did yesterday, I would have done Ring of Blood last night :/

Eh, Warmaul Champion's Mortal strike hits me for 90% of my HP anyway. Guess it's not going to happen.

apparently gold drops were stealth nerfed, too, so owning a 25 guild just got a lot less profitable

Well, the Priest nerf is a major buzzkill.

One option I haven't given much weight to is actually taking a break until next week instead of trying to figure out all the things I could be doing until the expansion comes out.

When people started talking about Borderlands 2 I got on my PS3 because I thought I had the original. Turns out it was a limited time thing on PlayStation+.

So I never played the original. What was it like? Good FPS?

Yeah, it was basically a FPS RPG. Story was bad, gameplay wasn't anything too special, but it was fun for some reason. A lot more fun with other people, playing solo gets boring pretty fast.
