Havn't played WoW since Wrath of the Lichen King and am looking to start playing again. I read up a little about a scroll of resurrection. Can anyone provide me with some details on this? Can anyone send me one? Thanks

The way the scroll of rez works is that you give someone the email address tied to your WoW account that you want to rez.

This gives you 7 days of free game time. If you buy game time, the person who "rez'd" you gets a mount.

Pretty much all there is to it really

did they stop doing the free geared 80 if you rez?

also, can't you just give the name/server of the toon you had if you remember it and you're not comfortable giving out your email?

Ah, had forgotten about that, you still do get the lvl 80

Edit: Can confirm that character name/server also works as well

So I doubt it will work for me but going to try using the SoR anyway.

Any 2+2 guilds? What severs? Horde or Alliance? My main is a 85 Mage on Tortheldrin but that realm was dead during Cata launch and I'm assuming it is dead now so I'd like to get the free lvl 80 character and transfer to a new realm/faction.

Yeah I know the eligibility. I had 7 days free time on my account so it probably won't work but I plan to contact support to see if I can get it anyway.

You can, but you can only transfer to the realm of the person who gave you the scroll for free.

But you should be able to pay to transfer wherever you like still though

Yeah I know you can only realm-to-realm transfer to the realm of the person who sent you the scroll. I was meaning accounts though. If I can't use SoR on my main account my plan was to use it on an old RAF account I have and then just transfer the new 80 to my main account during the 7 free days of gametime.

Blizzard comes through! Bascially they said they can't let me use the scroll of resurrection but they will give me a free level 80.

aceium's main is alliance, but it's on hellscream, not mug'thol

is the scroll of rez the free 80 for the rezzee and a free mount for the rezzer?

if so, i wouldn't mind getting that mount if everyone else already has it
