MW monk is OP right now until 5.1 (relevant even if it's lolfr), but you didn't mention a monk so I guess you're not interested in one.
Holy pally is pretty good right now, moreso in 10-man than 25 just because shamans scale better in 25s.
Priest is in a pretty ****ty spot. They're better than they were at the start of the tier because of the band aid fix (25% increased healing for PoH and something else, don't remember exactly), but I don't know if they're "fixed" yet. Maybe they're better now, I haven't really paid attention to specific numbers in a while.
Shaman is good in 25, kind of eh in 10.
Druid is bad in 25, eh in 10. Druids aren't really in a great spot imo because they basically perform the same role as monks, except monks do it a lot better. There's a reason most of the top end guilds aren't bringing resto druids right now. But if you're not on the cutting edge of progression (99.99% of players), using a resto druid isn't really going to make or break a fight. Now I'm not saying some fights wouldn't be easier with a monk instead of a druid (specifically thinking about heroic Garalon right now, I might have to see if I can play my monk for that instead of my druid when we get there, assuming I'm in). But for guilds that use resto druid(s), the vast majority of them aren't being held back because of the druid(s).
tldr--I would go with the pally.
Agree MW Monks are OP.
Holy Priests are in a decent spot, atm, imo. Disc is still lolbad.
It's something like MW Monk > Holy Paladin = Resto Shaman = Holy Priest > Resto Druid >>>>> Disc Priest for 25 man
I'll defer to Topher on 10man since that's his area of expertise.
I play a Holy Paladin and I would HIGHLY suggest it. Easily the most fun healer iyam (MW is the only one I haven't played at max level yet)
