I don't necessarily consider them casual, but they're just not as hardcore as what I want right now. I have the time right now to raid more than 3 days a week, so I want to take advantage of that while I can.

GM didn't take it well at all, I offered to stick around for a week so he could work on replacing me, but he didn't want me to, so I left. They spent an hour and a half wiping on the first boss in HoF before they killed it, and almost an hour now on the second boss so far. No clue what the rest of the week holds for them, but I really hope they don't completely fail, because I didn't want that to happen at all, that's the whole reason I offered to stay for the week. Plus if they can't kill everything again, then I'm gonna look like the bad guy here, because I sure as hell doubt he told everyone that I offered to stick around for a week and that he was the one that said no.

I'm already hearing through the grapevine some of the stuff he's telling them about me and why I left etc., and it's all complete lies, so maybe he's not as nice of a guy as I thought he was..but this just reinforces what I said sometime last week to someone during a raid: he just says whatever will make people happy, regardless of whether or not it's true. So pretty much it sounds like I won't be welcomed back to my old guild if things don't work out here. And that honestly feels a little good, I've been spending a TON of time playing this game the past few months, so if things don't work out and I end up just not playing as much or even at all, I think I would be ok with that.

On a different note, it looks like heroic HoF is no joke, as no one's killed the first boss yet, though there's also a bug with raid IDs that is screwing some guilds up too

I hope your new guild works out for you. I think most of us are finding a groove that works for us. My raid was cancelled tonight because we had no heals. It's tentatively on for Thursday. We're still at the point where we're 2/7 days, but the 2 days aren't necessarily consistent. IT's whichever 2 days we have the most people on and ready to raid.

In other news: I would be stoked if it took more than 2 days for a world first kill.

I broke my bad luck LFR streak yesterday. Won items from 2/6 bosses. I already had 476 versions of those slots though....

Guild is now 6/6MV (One shot everything but Spirit Kings). Got to 3% on the second boss of HoF. Also, prot warriors are OP. With second wind, our tank couldn't die, during phase 2 lol. We called a wipe with 2 minutes before berserk, and the AoE didn't kill him till the enrage.

Also, many deaths on first boss due to just how buggy the fight is. Boss not transitioning properly (We pushed the first platform to 60%, he flew to the second on and then immediately transitioned to the 3rd O.o) and then bubbles spawning in the gas and stupid **** like that.

First boss in heroic HoF finally down, to Method. It looks like they should get up to 3/6 fairly quickly now, though it's getting late in Europe now

Just to elaborate, it's roughly .5% according to wowhead, meaning after 200 runs (ie 4 years, though with account-wide mounts now I guess that's lower, depending on how many alts you do it on), you only have about a 64% chance of seeing it. If I had the gold, I would much rather just buy it instead of farming it for years, and possibly never even seeing it at all.
