Killed Feng this week with my raid group. Progression is going well.

Feng on heroic? Or normal?

Also, I've been making some good money making darkmoon cards. Buy ~1kg worth of herbs, mill, make card, turn around and sell them for 2.5kg+

Just on Normal. A good raid night for us is having 10 people show up (I have been part of this problem once or twice). Group is really fun though. I'd rather wipe on the first 3 bosses with this group than clear 6/6 every week with R76.

Last I checked the Mage Relic (Yu'Lon I think) was down to about 60k. I'm still rockin the Dragonling and Stopwatch though. Are those relics related to the Darkmoon Fariereraree?

Hey, as long as you're having fun, that's all that matters in the end

Yes. If you just buy the deck (or the cards) and wait 3 days you can probably save 30k. Healing trinket has been on the AH on my server for a few weeks for 65-75k, decks have been selling the past few days for about 30k, which is roughly what the total cost of the cards is.

For those wondering, Motes of Harmony stack up to 200 (And now I've got 21 Spirits of Harmony on my Pally to figure out what I'm gonna do with lol)

Ranked 6th on Wind Lord.

Would have ranked 2nd if we killed it on one of our earlier attempts that hit enrage.

/sigh

It has more to do with the fact that we have no life, rather than us leveling fast me thinks

I joined the guild a few hours before their first attempts at Heroic Gara. Very first wipe on it, the raid leader is literally screaming about why someone didn't get healed. The healers were in our healing channel trying to figure out what was going and and what we were going to do, while the RL was still yelling at us about how healers weren't generating enough stacks in the spirit realm (He wasn't picking up from when he wasn't down himself). That was pretty much how the rest of the night went, pull, wipe due to not being able to keep up with voodoos, people going oom, etc. RL yelling about how the healers aren't doing their jobs and are terrible. This was followed by an hour long "meeting" in mumble with the healers, the RL, and the healing leader (who was DPS for that fight), basically saying that all the healers don't put as much effort in as the rest of the guild, that we're terrible and holding the guilds progression back. As I'm listening to the RL during the meeting in mumble, he's in guild chat yelling at people for selling Sha Crystals on the AH and that people aren't donating enough to the guild bank.

To me, I mean, I enjoy raiding. If I **** up, I don't mind getting yelled at or constructive criticism. I wasn't going to stay there to be yelled at (with pretty much no other feedback then, you guys are bad, go figure out wtf you're supposed to be doing, kthxbye), as well as the serious mindset even in guild chat. Pretty much if someone tried to joke around it was generally met by a "stfu" or it got all serious (even outside of raid time). I play to have fun, not be stressed out for 4 hours to the point where I feel like I don't even want to raid again.

This was on top of the fact that when I applied, the guild spam said that they were 4 days per week, and that one of those days was old content stuff, obviously for progression have all 4 be progression is fine, but... when I joined, it turned out it was actually mandatory 5 days per week, instead. Also, upon joining, I was told that I would be required to have two raid ready alts by the beginning of November (I've only got one toon to level 90, let alone 3 raid ready level 90's). Both of these pieces of info weren't available to me until after I was accepted to their guild and had transferred over.

Well, I did my first 36/39 hours botting the auction house the other day. Really easy when a new account is only 5 bucks and your first two months are essentially free.

Funny looking at my competitor's graph on TUJ. He goes from very little relisting (50-100) to having redone about 700 auctions per hour. It's quite good to know that blizzard gives less than one half of one **** and people can do this all day. Guess I'll have to break down and buy a second bot key to do my normal every-day botting.

I think I kinda hate this game aorn.

Trip report after first day with new guild:

Downed first boss in like 4 or 5 pulls
Won the Holy Pally plate from the token roll

And these guys are ****ing hilarious and a great group of people imo. Plenty of joking around with a side of serious business when it calls for it. First guild where actually a majority of the people tried to make me feel at home. Been a long time that I actually had fun raiding, like I did tonight.

Killed heroic Gara'jal tonight (finally, should have happened last week but we never had all the right people online), and 5/6 HoF. Didn't get to do any pulls on the last boss, it looks like it should be easier than the 5th boss though, so hopefully we can get that next week so we can do Terrace the week after.

So I applied and got accepted to the top guild on my server (4/6H in MV, 6/6N HoF). Gonna start my trial next week, since I wanted to give my guild some notice that I'm leaving.

I basically just wanted something a little more serious than my current guild. We have 13 raiders, but:
-one can't be there on Sundays (ie 33% of our raids)
-one is significantly worse than the others and can't play his offspec so he's not really a raider yet still taking up a valuable roster spot
-one apparently can't listen when things are being explained or discussed, and constantly afks for non-emergencies (like folding laundry)
-one is JUST NOW starting to do dailies, after everyone else is pretty much done with dailies
-two of the other "officers" really don't do jack ****, while I bust my ass messing with the gbank, looking at logs/videos for new fights, doing **** on the forums etc, yet the GM still values their input more than mine (basically when he's just looking to have his opinion validated, he'll pull me down in Mumble and ask what I think, then if that wasn't what he was looking for he'll pull one of the other "officers" down and ask them). I also think it's kind of stupid to have 3 officers plus a GM in a 10-man guild, but that's another topic
-I apparently can't verbally get mad at other people, because I've done that a couple times the past few weeks, and each time he's pulled me aside and talked my ear off after the raid asking why I'm so pissy and whatever
-a lot of our players are just flat out subpar, when it comes to both numbers and mechanics, and it's really starting to show

Basically if it was my guild, I would replace about 60% of them.

GM is a really nice guy though, so I'm gonna feel really bad when I tell him. The guild has come so far since he started it, and he's put a lot of time/money/effort into it. And I'm not trying to sound full of myself here, but losing me is gonna be a pretty big blow.

I'm a little worried about exactly what is going to happen in the new guild though. Resto druids aren't really that great right now in 25-mans, and they already have 1 on the roster, so I hope I'm not applying for a bench spot. I've also heard in the past that they run with a ~40 man roster, and if that's true that's gonna mean a lot of bench time, which I'm not looking for. I've been in every single raid of my current guild for the past year, and I've been in every single boss kill (hell, every single boss PULL) except for only a handful, so being on a bench even just for a fight or 2 will be a new experience.

Everyone else has been talking about their new guilds so I figured I'd chime in with my story, since I'm going more hardcore instead of more casual. I guess I'll have to come back with a TR next week after the first raid.

Good luck to you topher, hope things go well with your new guild

Still pretty amazing that you guys are 3/6H with a guild you consider casual IMO
