In other news, my old guild (Well, the RL and one of the officers) is apparently very pissed at me. I posted on the forum to let them know I was leaving (hadn't even been accepted to any guilds yet) and in less than a hour my account on the forums was completely deleted, and apparently said officer and RL decided to bash me on the forums lol.

I had sent the RL a PM stating everything that I had a problem with, and I guess I hit too close to home. Short version of my PM to him:

- Raids not starting on time
- People not bringing flasks/food to raids
- People showing up in improper gear and/or unenchanted gear (We also we're taking fresh level 90's on WEEK TWO of MV being open. As in, hit 90 2 hours before raid time fresh)
- People not on time coming back from breaks on time
- Raiding 25 man with 24 or less people in raid
- Numerous people underperforming
- Running LFR/Sha during scheduled progression raiding times
- (This one probably is what pissed him off) I told him that when he said, in raid, that he didn't care if a boss was downed (in response to someone else saying it was pointless to continue wiping on Elegon since there was only 24 in raid) that I felt it wasn't the mindset of a competitive progression raiding guild.

I told him that I wasn't going to post it because I didn't want any new people joining to see that post and get quickly discouraged, but that he could post it if he wanted to. I guess I know the answer to that, lol. Even was more funny that one of their responses was "I hope he can find a guild that schedules around NFL telecasts." How much I wish I could just say "I hope you can run a guild that schedules a raid that starts on time" lol

Boy oh boy did they get you! Cuz everyone knows WoW isn't a game primarily played by men, and also that men are not primarily the audience for football games! He suuuhhhhhhMOKED you there mang, woof! Gonna need to put some ice on that hurt, yo. SHAZOOOOO

In other related news, the guild no longer has 25 people to raid (They barely have 20 people to raid atm). They did two 10's. The group the RL was in? He called it after an hour of not being able to get Stone Guards past 80%... on normal...

Someone be learning the hard way that 25man raids cover up a lot of things lol

That's ridiculously pathetic considering the 10-man combo this week is by far the easiest of all the combos..no jasper chains = free loot.

Of course, they're all easy on normal, but without jasper chains, there is literally nothing that should even have a chance to kill you in that fight.

ughghg, there is a bugged spider that just follows my paladin around. Can't attack it, it evades, and it doesn't attack me. I fly away and can see it chasing after me on the ground. I want to delete my paladin now

There has been a distinct lack of a Fire Mage guide on MMO-Champ for a while. Someone posted one recently and now they're getting in a debate about whether 2 Crit is > 1 Int, throwing out Simcraft numbers etc.

I mean, I guess there's plenty of legwork that can be done to completely min/max a Spec, and someone's got the time on their hands. But seriously, if you're at 11 or 12k INT, how worried are you about that Red gem that's making you miss out on 80 * (3.96 - 3.78) of whatever unit that is?

For the record, I definitely think there's good debate coming from this, and if 2 Crit really is better than 1 INT then by all means gem the **** out of crit and kick INT to the curb. It could very possibly make the difference in a kill vs a < 1% wipe. I just think it's interesting that so much time and energy can be spent on doing 60.1k DPS instead of 60k.

Man everytime I start to seriously consider finding a new guild, we go and kill a new boss that I wasn't expecting to kill...we'll see how I feel next week when we can't kill the new combo of Stone Guard. I'm happy to kill H Feng though, wasn't expecting it at all and then next thing I know we're at like 5%, so I just start calling out cooldowns to make sure we didn't wipe, because I don't think we would've gotten there again very easily tonight.

We had like 17 people on last night and only 2 of them were even classes that could heal. One Paladin that mainly does DPS and our MT/RL Monk who doesn't have any spirit gear (or probably even a Mistspiritwalkermender spec).

We gave up on even trying to do BWD for lols and achievements. I think we're going to stick to Mondays and Tuesdays for raiding. One caveat to that is that we need to come up with a roster of 10 people that are 90 and can make it to the raid.

Question for you guys: I wan to push for getting Firelord for our group. How will this be at 90 compared to 85?

There will still be a quite a few one shot mechanics to deal with, but I can't see it putting up too much trouble if people have half a brain. I am horrible with names, but in the last phase tanks have to snare the boss when he gains a buff and the timing on this is pretty tight. I think at lvl 85 heroic ds geared, we only had do deal with this twice, so 90s should just have it once im guessing. You should be able to push into the last phase with no meteors up as well.


On another note, last night was an amazing WOW night for me. I went back to the area that the spider first started chasing me and that seemed to make him despawn, atleast I havent seen him after an hour or two of game play since. And we cleared 6/6 normal and I went super whore mode and got 4 pieces of gear. :O

My first night raiding with my new guild consisted of the healers getting blasted all night by the RL because we had trouble figuring out how to handle the buffs and voodoo on gara. Then a meeting afterward esentially calling the healers failures that doesnt put in enough time outside of raid to coordinate things and that were holding back the guilds progression. wtf did I just get myself into O.o

If my raid doesn't come together (and I kind of doubt it will), I can see myself canceling my subscription. They took the grind to 11. I was really proud when I got the drake for the TB dailies, bit I'll be damned if I'm doing that again just for the ability to get VP gear.
