Why are YOU trying to get bots banned?

Cuz I don't like having to log onto my bank alts more than once a day. It was sooo sweet for that week when he wasn't botting the ah. Log in the morning, post glyphs, log in next day, collect 5k from each toon, repeat.

It turns into an arms race once one person starts botting the auction house. Makes the economy ****ty and a pain to deal with.

I really don't care if people bot anything else. It sucks when they bot rare spawns, but they're likely to get banned doing that. Botting mats is great, cuz it makes stuff cheap for everyone else. Botting leveling, be my guest, doesn't affect anyone else. Botting bgs or arenas is pretty annoying and it's no skin off my back when those guys get banned.

I dunno, I'm fickle. You can use bots to make the game a better place for everyone or worse for everyone, and it bugs me when people make the game worse for other people, particularly when I thought I had escaped all that by moving off illidan.

Just seems a bit hypocritical to bot some things but try to get other bots banned.

Got Gara'jal to about 8% last night, after not raiding on Thursday because our tank's internet was out. And now the hurricane is probably gonna mess up our Tuesday and Thursday raids this week, which really sucks with hof coming out

I understand it seems a bit hypocritical, and it probably is, but it's like that old saying, "Your rights end where my rights begin." Bot all you want so long as it doesn't impact others. Once you cross that line into making the game ****tier for other people, that's when I dislike it.

Pulled Gara'al for first time tn , and all I can say is it was utter chaos lol . Think our best pull was like 52% . We could not get an organized totem system together at all and would always end up wit no healers or missing one dps etc etc . This seemed alot easier on the video I watched ! lol

But just about all botting affects other people in some way. Probably not significantly or even noticeably, but it all affects others. Maybe the only thing that doesn't affect anyone else is botting for stuff like mounts in instances or transmog or whatever. But even then, if you loot anything else at all and vendor it or sell it on the AH, that's putting more money and mats into the economy than would otherwise be there, since presumably the reason you're botting it is because you wouldn't actually be doing it yourself otherwise. It's probably not important enough to do yourself if you feel the need to bot it.

You don't really need anything fancy for normal Gara'jal, it's one of the easiest fights on normal after you figure it out. Spirit Kings being a close second.

You should probably be 2-healing it, even on normal the enrage is somewhat tight for entry-level gear, and the healing isn't intense, especially considering you basically can't run out of mana. After the first voodoo dolls goes out, designate 2 dps that didn't get voodoo dolls to go down with every totem. Voodoo dolls should switch targets while they're in the spirit realm, so they'll never get it, and they can go with every totem. Healers will need to switch off whenever they're able to, in order to regen mana. I don't remember exactly how the timing works out on normal, but basically you'll always have at least 1 healer that doesn't have voodoo dolls, so you shouldn't ever be missing a healer in the spirit realm. Once in the spirit realm, healers should spam heals on themselves and the dps even after getting to 100% health, in order to stack up the Spiritual Innervation buff. If you send down the same 2 dps everytime, then it's not as big of a deal to stack it up on them, because they should be able to keep the adds under control without it. The main point of the buff is to compensate for the time that you're not dpsing the boss, but if you're never dpsing the boss then it doesn't really matter.

tl;dr--2 heal, send the same 2 dps down with every totem, make sure healers switch off whenever possible so they both have mana.

I'm starting to think blizzard is missing the point of "rare" spawns.

Found 4 of them while doing 3 anglers quests today, then another on my way to do a klaxxi or whatever.

I killed Sha earlier this week but didn't have any Charms to use for the extra roll. I have charms today so I joined a group to go kill him and use the extra roll. We killed him but I didn't get to use my charms. Basically he died and nothing happened.

Finally got enough minors to get a real set of 3 charms. Did LFR and charmed my way into some new pants, got lucky and won a chest, didn't get my charm to work for a trinket/weapon though, blah

oh, i got an account warning for harassing this dude's bot. looooonnnngggggg before anything bad ever happens to him

screw it, I plunk down my 5 bucks, going 24/7 auction botting on a fresh account. at least, i'd like to if I could get scheduling to alternate between characters properly.

guess i see why blizz doesn't ban botters, just makes more people buy more accounts to even the playing field

Finally got so people to show up at the same time for challenge modes. We did scarlet halls and gate of the setting sun. We were just trying to get a feel for them, finished scarlet halls in 34 minutes(silver is 22) with a handful of wipes. I'm not sure what we got on gate, but silver was 22 minutes on that as well and we had the last boss at 50% with 2 minutes to go, but we didn't know about interrupting the one add to prevent him from summoning a ****ton of other adds, so we got over run.

Was a ton of fun though, silver medals seem well within reach, gold is still mind blowing at this point.
