No. We tried gettin her started but she wasnt terribly into it. Got a hunter up to like 5 or 10 iirc.

I even got her hunter a Burgy hat!

The problem my girlfriend had at first was that there is too much to do and no real 'objective'. It's overwhelming. MoP was great because once I got her into farming and pets then she got into everything else on her own time.

Yeah, giz got all sorts of excited when she saw the red panda you can get at the end of the pet battle stuff. She may still try it out yet. Just a question of if she wants access to my pets or not, I think.

Plus side of finally getting my shammy to 90 - I love raid healing with Riptide glyphs to remove its cd.

Downside - killing anything as ele really sucks with low ilvl. And I forget how to play it mostly.

Marched into lfr with about 454 ilvl and ended up third in most fights. Don't recall how much hps I did, but damn is it a fun play style. In some weird sense it reminds me of old resto druiding. The long hot from riptide, quick other casts. Totems being instant kinda like lifebloom. I dunno. Just what came to mind, before mastery made me hate rdruids.

RIP keyboard, you lived a good long 3 month life. Cat decided to knock over my drink, it barely got on the keyboard but it ****ed up the Windows key, shorted something out I guess because it's just always being held down. And even after I unplug it and plug a different keyboard in it's still like it's being held down, have to restart to get it to stop..don't know if that's something I can fix or not....

Soloed KT/Sapph/first two of plague wing. Only one that gave an ele sham problems was the 2nd boss in PW. Dude has a sick debuff that makes you cast 300% slower. And I don't have the dps to kill him before he casts it.

Died once, retalented into a healing totem and got him the next attempt.

I just now realized you don't need to clear the wings still to kill sapph/kt.

Yeah that 300% cast debuff is a pain. Patchwerk might be a pain for a single character.

This weekend I solo'ed all the raids up to the 2nd boss of Sunwell. He seemed to bug and got all his health back midfight so I wiped on him and decided to take a break so I've marathoned season 4 of Justified the last 2 nights. Soloed Naxx except for Raz.

2 I've looked at as many trinkets from Vanilla that I could and found nothing. I dunno if some of the scourge invasion trinkets were updated and given a new ilvl for when WotLK was coming out. Maybe I need to dig up the old version or something.

10 People have mentioned something about a troll daily. I guess Pa'troll, but the answer has to be an NPC or item. Many people are saying that one is kinda random.

Killed all three alliance rares. Not a goddamn trinket off one of them. And good sweet GOD are the alliance rares way harder to kill. Loads of mobs around them, **** that knocks you off your mount, tons of bs kill you in one hit mechanics. ffs

Anyhow, bought some pvp gear to up the ilvl. Since I couldn't get the 483 pandaria pvp trinket I bought the spirit/loss of control trinket. Got me to 480. Couldn't queue for ToT lfr. Said I was still 479.

Sold back the trinket, bought a different one, and then it let me. Sold the trinket back and it STILL let me queue, even though the ilvl dropped. No clue wtf was up with that.

Oh, a quick few healer questions

First, is there a general amount of spirit to aim for before reforging it to something else?

Also, wtf is up with people in lfr? I see so many folks half oom in the fist minute of every fight. This one had an astounding 85% overhealing. I was around 45%. A monk was at 54%, but he did like 88k hps (tsulong fight, everyone else was a bit over half of his hps).

So, clearly the first guy sucked, right?

I seem to always start out low on hps but make it up later. Good habit? Plus, I burn mana regen totem early and often to help the other guys, without it being a waste for me.

Which healer we talking about? Your Druid, Shaman, Pally, Priest or Monk?

For non-progression raiding, the easy answer is you don't ever reforge out of spirit, you reforge everything you can into it (and then gem spirit on top of that). As a holy paladin, I literally have every gem slot filled with a blue +320 spirit gem.

On that tsulong fight, everyone that wasn't the monk was doing it wrong. The only reason for being half the HPS of the monk is the other 5 healers were both not standing in the Sun Breath for the extra 500% healing increase (and 25% total mana return) AND not healing the boss (500% healing + HoT's = gg).

edit: This is your shaman, I see. You should be crushing everyone on Tsulong. Heal the boss more.

With your class, you heal more the lower peoples health is, so it's pretty natural that your healing is low to start and then ramps up, especially since absorbs would eat much of the early damage from the priests and paladins.

MTT should pretty much be dropped on CD after the first time you use it (which should be around when you're at 80% mana).
