Just tried a couple pet battles on my Lock and I'm only getting like 300xp per win now.

Oh well, fun while it lasted. At least I got 7 free levels on my Lock last night. That's pretty good for a pure DPS, they're the hardest to level anyway.

well, now i feel really stupid for grinding out 5k honor to convert to JP to buy that stupid worthless boa staff.

besides, now that i've had a taste of leveling a basically new character to 85 in just 5 hours, it's hard to go back

You've got a true Hybrid close to 90, that would be a pretty good thing to Main if you were considering switching from your Hunter. Very easy to queue and Daily with.

So, the two fights my guild has had trouble on so far: Megaera and Council, are apparently much harder on 10 man than 25 looking at the stats atm.

Council 10m: 3.9% kills, 96.1% wipes on all attempts
Council 25m: 22.6% kills, 77.4% wipes

Megaera 10m: 5.6% kills, 94.4% wipes
Megaera 25m: 22.1% kills, 77.9% wipes

Pretty much every other fight is within 5% of 10m and 25m kills. Some 1% or less.

Well, I'm not really planning on ever doing the raiding thing again.

Like, before you showed up the other day, I was gonna take your place in msv. Glad I didn't since I heard you guys had some issues. >.<

But as I was buying pots and flasks and such it sort of dawned on me how I really don't care all that much anymore about learning all the fight mechanics and all the **** that comes with raiding. I love seeing the content, and I'm lazy as hell. So LFR really caters to that.

I also detest wiping and trying to get people lazier than myself in guild to finally learn a fight that I already know.

The only part that's really enjoyable about raiding - getting together with the same group of folks each week, is also tainted by the downside of usually seeing them when they're at their worst, if you're learning fights, at least.

Removing the only thing that raiding is needed for - higher level raiding (need better gear to kill hardmodes, etc), removes the pressure to care about doing the best, getting the best gear, et al.

Alright yeah I'm leaving this group for sure after tonight, don't even really care if I find another one or not at this point. The people we're funneling gear to are basically doing nothing but complaining about people sucking. Now don't get me wrong, the baddies are annoying me to, but for crying out loud we're funneling you 2.5x the gear you would have gotten if you just burned through it on 10. Man the **** up and enjoy all the loot you're getting...

Not to mention they seem to always be the ones taking random afks and not running back after wipes, etc. Pretty disrespectful imo, it's ok for you to waste my time but not for me to waste yours? Yeah ok..

I did the first couple sets of daily quests on the new Isle of Thunder. They were really cool. I think they did a great job with the dinosaur theme. I'm excited to really explore the place for the first time today.
