What is it you're trying to get?

I will say this - unless you're using the bot to farm uldum 24/7, I think the chances of getting caught and banned permanently (many bots i've seen were unbanned, and many people in the botting community get unbanned with little effort).

At least on my high pop server, I see people botting *everything* wherever I go.

As long as you have all your settings right, you're pretty safe. Of course, ymmv on your server and I would never recommend botting on an account you aren't okay losing. (I mostly just wanted to get loads of gold, which I've done, and have hidden safely away in a place it can be retrieved by someone who isn't me if I ever do get banned.)

Right now I just want the mount from Stratholme, and eventually I wouldn't mind the mount + title + FoS for the camel, just because I'm getting into a bit of a collecting mood lately.

I feel like for what I'm wanting to do, I shouldn't really have to worry about much if I bot them. Stratholme: no one else is in there with me, so they would only be able to tell if a GM decides to randomly watch me (or if whatever bot I would go with is easily detectable). The camel: I guess if someone else is flying around they might be able to tell, but for the most part no one is going to notice, plus it's not like I'm farming ore or something, just using it to fly around till NPCScan goes off and I take over, so there's no impact on anyone else unless I beat them to it.

I've also read about one of the bots on ownedcore where the maker used it to farm for the disgusting oozeling, and I guess it was on a pvp server. All he got was a 3-day suspension. So if that's true, that doesn't seem like a huge risk to take.

Also, the rep grind for the Talbuks wasn't bad at all. I think I was at about 3k/12k, and I was done in about 2 hours. Would've been less if I factored in the 10% extra rep from the guild perk, didn't think about that for the bead turn ins

So far I've lost an 80-20. 147 Baron kills and no mount yet. Takes me about 5 minutes per run, so a little over 12 hours of my life wasted.

Healer disappears for a month and half, playing D3 pretty much the whole time. Then right when we update our **** saying we need another healer he magically comes back expecting to jump right back in. lol

I think we found a shaman so we're good to go again.
