lulz, I just did an Ulduar 25 on Openraid. RL clearly says the run is for the achievements, and a couple herald characters are fine but that it's just need before greed, they aren't getting any preference on gear, since everyone else is there for the achievements and not to carry 80s for gear (he didn't explicitly say the last part, but I assume it's basically what he meant). After the raid, those herald characters then leave him bad rep and complain that the loot rules weren't adhered to. I guess their definition of need before greed is different than everyone else's..

I get bored after Aceium gets off, so I find some random guy in trade to do some 2s with. Enhance shaman, looks really bad, but whatever it's 5am on a bad server with 20 85s in Org right now, so gotta take what I can get..first game, he misses queue, second game he gets burst down in like 3 seconds while I was silenced. 3rd game, really bad team, we win eventually after it takes him 10 minutes to kill a hunter and DK (and it's not like the DK was blood or anything), and he then praises my healing as the "****ing best healz i hve ever seen". In a game that required basically no healing at all. Then 4th game he misses queue again and says he has to go.

I guess I need to transfer my pally to a real server if I want to do any kind of arena on him

Did you have d3, topher? I can't exactly look thru the battletag thread since they deleted it for security concerns and all

Didn't ask for it, and didn't sign up for it, but I know 2 heroic bosses now, and have some keen heroic loot to show for it, too. So much tasty mastery now, omnomnom. My blood shield's gonna be HUDGE

Well I got better than the ****ty enhance shaman that I had last night, but still not a great partner today. Think we're 7-7 so far, one game was 100% completely my fault, one of them was basically dead and I was focused on running in trying to stun him, and I completely forgot about this whole healing thing that I'm supposed to be doing till it was too late..I don't think we did too bad though, considering our combined 7.7k res went against a couple teams with 4.5-5k each. My dps didn't seem to be putting out very much though, just spent 23 minutes against a hunter and spriest..

Well, 25 minutes into a game where absolutely no progress had been made on either side and I just decided to leave, I now despise 2s, at least when it's healer/dps vs healers/dps.

That would definitely be a more appropriate price, but 25% off is still probably just about the best you'll ever see from Blizzard. So if I'm gonna do it, this weekend would be the time.

Why do DKs get a 50% dmg reduction at 62, and protadins don't get it until eighty-goddamn-five?!

My options are - 20% dmg reduction.

So I have my 2 20% cooldowns. But the dmg inflicted is physical damage. So glyphing to remove the physical part of one of my cooldowns is right out the window. But if it's physical dmg, does that mean my armor counts against it?

It should, but read the comments to make sure, since sometimes things like that ignore armor to make them non-trivial.


I really need to find a new pug for my shaman...healing alongside a resto shaman that sounds like he's either 11 years old, or a she with a really nasally voice, and he/she is absolutely awful. Top heal on Zon'ozz was healing stream totem...........................

And the rest of the group, everything they do annoys me for some reason. Not sure if there are really any better options for pugs on my server though..

Edit: Also, after the tank died from eating a full focused assault because the healers were LoS'd from ice tombs, I ask in vent "is there a reason you're not running away to break focused assault?" and the reply was "because you can heal me".

I'm quickly losing any desire to do any more BGs ever..I am so unbelievably tired of always running into a premade or getting put on an absolute **** team, it seems like one and/or the other always happens when I queue alone. Plus, I legitimately can't remember the last time I wasn't #1 heals in any BG. I know I'm not bad, but I also know I'm not the best ever. The only reason I'm always at the top is because there's so much **** to heal since my dps never kill anybody.

I really wish I could find some kind of premade to join, but: people on my server suck so that's out of the question, and all the premades I see on openraid are always way overfilled so the odds my 4k res hpally gets in are pretty slim.
