Re: **Heroic Ragnaros Sweat Thread - November LC**
First 4 bosses of Dragon Soul are pretty faceroll. 5th boss is a dps check, another Patchwerk-esque fight. Spent about an hour wiping on him. We didn't have great DPS so we were coming really close to the enrage, but with a guild group it should be a lot easier. 6th boss looks like another lootship, but we lost a few people after Ultraxion so we only did 1 half-assed attempt and then called it.
Looks like overall though most decent guilds will be at least clearing 6/8 the first week, with lots 8/8 of course. Bad guilds should be able to get 2/8 pretty easily, because the first boss and then the Unsleeping guy are pretty straightforward. But past that they're probably gonna have to work at the rest of the fights for a few weeks, and then they'll probably run into a brick wall when they hit Ultraxion until they get more gear. Hopefully my guild can get some more people on the PTR at some point, it was just me and a tank for most of the night. It would be nice to be able to clear 8/8 on there before 4.3 hits so we know we can do it the first week.

Re: **Heroic Ragnaros Sweat Thread - November LC**
I must have jinxed myself because I got in to a complete fail ZG today. The tank didn't know what to do with the first boss and the group wiped twice before I left.
I tried to get in to a few Firelands runs and a BWD run that people were advertising in trade. Usually they assume the form of "Fresh FL going 7/7 pst with achieve and ilvl/role." So I give them that information, and say that this is an alt so he doesn't have the achieve yet but I have 6/7 HM experience. Most people don't even give you a response. The BWD RL didn't respond either, even though I'm more than geared for the instance and have the achievement from months ago. I've started putting people that don't respond at all on my ignore list. How many whispers are you getting at 9am on a Saturday that you can't be bothered to type "No thank you."? Illidan has so many people on there that I'm only beginning to weed through them.

Ugh, so pissed. Just got finished moving, and I get told my internet will be ready for me once I get to my new place. Even get an email saying that they completed the work and I was good to go. Of course, I get here and have a modem that isn't receiving a signal. I gotta call tech support Sunday morning and of course know I'm gonna get told a technician is going to need to be sent out, so I won't have my internet for a a few days. Thank god I never cancelled my air card service with Verizon, so I still have something to get me through. WoW wayyy to laggy to play on it, though.

Thanks to Low Key for getting me an invite to an awesome ICC 25 achievement group. Really fun reliving good times in there. Got almost 150 points just in that run. Also enjoyed doing 50k DPS on Marrowgar

Guardian cubs sitting around 5-6k on our server. Totally not worth a ten dollar investment, but definitely worth buying with gold if you have the amount laying around.
Also, even after all those ach's, still got you beat by about 40, bwahahah!

According to MMO-champion the darkmoon fair is on the ptr. They have profession quests that give +5 to your profession. Does anyone know if you're at cap will this put you +5 over the cap? If so would it be better to powerlevel a profession to put it about the cap?

Probably works the same way doing fishing/cooking quests works when you're at the cap.

Well, it's hard to say because we haven't moved past level cap since they implemented this stuff, but you don't get 526/525 or anything like that.

Engineering is still one of the coolest professions in the game. Loot-a-rang alone almost makes it worth it.

Grew up in Penasquitos but live in Carmel Valley now.
So I'm probably safe to stay within 5 of the level cap and get some free skill ups?

Yeah, if you really don't want to spend the gold/orbs to cap.

Re: **Heroic Ragnaros Sweat Thread - November LC**
Oh wow, aside from being top 300 gearscore on our server, I'm top 3 geared toons in our guild.
Just a few lucky drops is all it takes.
Though, a legendary like the other 2 would be nice as well.
..really makes me wish I'd have got those 391 bracers that our benched rogue got, though. Oh well, I'm sure another BiS random drop will happen any day now.
