Re: February is Black Dragonflight History Month **LC**

We learned last night not to do RBG's on a Tuesday. I think all the serious arena folk do RBG's right after the reset for fast points to get gear so they have that slight edge for the week in arena.

Queued into this team that was using the cross-realm raid tool for RBG's and we recognized a name or two from AJ. So we started looking up armories and it turns out the whole team was composed of R1 players from various servers. A bunch of them had no RBG's played so it brought their otherwise 2600 rated team's MMR down to our ~2100 level. We got completely wrecked.

The whole evening was like this too. That was the worst of them, but all the teams we played were from Tich and full of glads.

Tip: The second you hit 84, stop whatever you're doing and head back to Org/SW (you are horde, right?). Grab the twilight highlands and get moving on it.

The only exception is that, if you don't have Therazane dailies open yet, go do all the Deepholm quests until they're available. You need those guys open asap so you can get their tabard.
Thanks for the heads up. I didn't have the Therazane dailies yet, but I was like 5 quests away from them. Unlocked them and did them all in about 20 minutes.

Now I'm working on the questline to get to Twilight, but I have to go out. I'm about 10% through 84 now!!! Almost there!!!

EDIT: What is the urgency towards going to Twilight? I don't know much about that area or what happens or what options open up to me at the end game.

I think the quests there give significantly more experience than quests anywhere else.

Also, the quests reward higher ilvl gear, which will get your into heroics quicker, which will get you into HoT heroics quicker, which will get you into raids quicker, etc

(also, if you quest to 85, you should make something on the order of about 5k gold or so just from rewards. That's to say nothing of DEing gear and the like)

Re: February is Black Dragonflight History Month **LC**

I've been having a weird thing happening, not sure if anybody can help me or if I need to go straight to Blizzard or the Computer forum.

I was just questing in Twilight and I went to loot a guy, my screen jumped like if you accidentally snag the screen and turn. I didn't get the loot, but the loot window closed. Then I couldn't use my Up or Down arrow keys to move. I could use Left and Right though. The only way I could move was if I used the LC and RC on my mouse at the same time.

Also, with the Caps Lock off, I could only type in all CAPS. To turn the caps off, I have to turn Caps Lock on. But even with the Caps Lock on or off, it only registers the caps lock function keys on my keyboard like the ? for /.

Then I closed WoW and tried to open up the internet and it kept opening a new window instead of just opening a new tab.

Anyone have any idea? It has happened at least twice now that I clearly remember.

Re: February is Black Dragonflight History Month **LC**

I'll have to run a virus scan and see if it comes up with anything. I highly doubt it is a virus though. My computer was sounding like it was running something in the background so maybe some kind of process was screwing with the game.

With that said, after 7 hours of grinding it out in Twilight Highlands, I have officially hit level 85!!!

Now I can focus on gearing up and getting BOAs for my Rogue.

WoW64

I am terribly excite to see what Ultraxion is like with this version. Seems to be clearing up loads of lag and the like.

Oh sweet. I was worried the 64-bit client was going to be a completely new install and I have 0 desire to start fresh with all my addon configurations.

Hopefully I will get a chance to try this out on the weekend.

Couldn't be easier to install. Though, I'm a tad confused on if I need to run it as administrator or not.

Seems like mining nodes are showing up much quicker now

LFR ultraxion with recount enabled - never dipped below 30fps

No reason not to run it as an administrator if you're in doubt, imo.

On the MMO forums a couple people said to make sure and back up your UI before doing this as it messed theirs up pretty badly.

I also can't wait to see if this breathes new life in to my system on Ultraxion. Although I think we're most likely going to do Firelands 25 in order to get our fourth Dragonwrath. What's funny is that we'll probably get 5 times the EP for showing up for Firelands than we did for Dragon Soul :P
