Greetings,

I have been playing with Lock poker for almost six months. A couple of times I got my bank roll up relatively high. Let's face it I was gambling and so I wasn't always able to keep that bankroll at a reasonable amount. A couple of times I wanted to cash out but couldn't due to other pending transactions. I bought into larger tournaments and let's face it bad beats are inevitable in cards, so as my balance depleted I reloaded multiple times. Let's just say I have been good for business at Lock.

I have cashed out via Western Union before and although there was quite a long wait my confidence was re-established in the fact that they eventually did pay on one request. Before this I have been waiting for an approved check since November!

I recently placed another cash out request for WU a week or two ago. I did receive a message from Quinn that the check I mentioned from over 16 weeks ago should be arriving shortly. Although after hearing what the check processing is like I am not even sure it will come or if it will have any value if it does.

If the check was rushed out and the money was sent quickly via western union I would even be willing to pay a small amount extra. Even with all of this I still would do business with Lock. I like to be able to play cards. I think it is fun. A couple delays I don't really mind as long as they pay eventually. I am not hurting for money and I like the entertainment of playing in a few tournaments while watching movies . It would be nice to at least have the option to build a bankroll to play cards online. If the purpose of Lock is just to take more and more money without payout then I will have no more of it.

Fact of it is they should just be honest rather than leading on and on about sending a check or not sending one. It really takes away from the fun of playing. Not to mention it is just plain unethical. My hope is that Lock reads this and takes care of the situation. I will update people interested in my experience with this. For now I refuse to do any more business with Lock until they take care of the two cash outs. I am loyal as a consumer and when a business isn't providing proper service then it is time to move on. So Shane or Quinn or Elle, Kevin, or whoever just let me know what the word is on these two pending cash outs.

As for anyone else interested I will keep you posted.

Our apologies for the delay. The Cashier Manager has assured us to expect your check to arrive very soon. And your Western Union withdrawal will be Authorized very soon and will be included in the next Western Union withdrawal batch. This should occur shortly.

Cool man so what gives? Why did you care enough to post? Do you pay money to play cards and not expect to receive your winnings back?

Cause if that is the case your money would be good at my home game anytime.

It is my hope that this thread would either renew peoples confidence in Lock or deter people from it that are thinking about depositing. Not sure if you know this or not but here in America the options are limited for people looking to build an online poker bankroll. So if you are outside the U.S. not sure why you would even be in this forum to begin with.

Since I think you are indeed in the U.S. and you are involved in this forum (and actually breathing this .. Ok-sEe-JehN you speak of) and commenting, then perhaps you have some frustration as well with this process.

Not looking to argue with you but ... just sayin. I appreciate your bantering though. Really makes for some entertainment.

DO IT! Update it as well. Advanced people at online gaming know a ton about the process and noobs need to be informed. Especially with all this talk about fair play. Lock can use the opportunity to pay out the people that have been waiting and we can report confidence in the system if indeed they make good on our payout requests.

This will give the internet investigators confidence that Lock will do right by their methods if they are looking at jumping into the online gaming industry.

No. Anyone that is having an issue with this has as much a right as the next person. The point of the thread is to follow up on the actions of the support/cashier and if they make good or not and for other potential players to be informed.

So... not sure if the forum thread here is helping speed along this process...

But today I did indeed receive the check I requested from 11/11/12! It appears to be a legit check from the bank of (bank name removed). Dated March first... So is the suggestion to just to place it in the ATM with endorsement? OR Should I plan on taking it to the teller for verification first?

Now I am still waiting on my Western Union verification and control number from 2/18 and am hoping Mary holds true to me being included in the next WU batch.

I will continue with the updates and I hope this helps for people thinking of playing on Lock.

Some guy name TheCorkyJR started a thread in a similar way over a year ago. It has exploded to thousands of people posting with a huge number of views. Does that make it the default place for everyone? This is a way for someone to see a running monologue of my experiences at Lock. Rather than seeing hundreds and hundreds of people all whining together about the situation someone can have the running perspective of a typical guy.

Besides it is a thread for a community where anybody can post. Who made you judge and jury?? Not to mention I have seen other posts from long ago... Why don't you go and disrupt their running threads. Seemed everyone else jumped on that other guys'.

I am not the judge or jury. I am just sick and tired of people thinking their cash out is more important than anyone else's and they can have their own thread and it causes more overall disapproval in the marketplace causing my money to be worth less. Meanwhile it also clutters the forum more with a topic ALREADY being discussed.

The emails and support posts are pointless since they have the same pre written responses for everything.

Update. I have been getting the usual run around as I have sent two requests about my western union withdrawal. I guess I didn't expect it to get fast tracked however when someone gives you the language that it will be done very soon you would think it would be done in a week or two. Considering since the shut down of major poker sites I have to consider what they deem as a quick turnaround. Nevertheless the wait continues and as I have stated I will not put any more money on lock until they make good by the cash I have requested. Here is a sample of the rhetoric we have most recently had.
