Just an idea, but especially since some of the touranments aren't generating much of a field... why not make some, if not all of the guaranteed tournaments re-entry?

Thoughts anyone...?

Reentries would be good, and would help alot with overlays, why don't they do it? Who knows, it has helped boost merges prize pools a bunch. It is better for the player and the company itself, sure you have to pay a rake twice, but this gives skilled players a bigger edge over the casuals, because there is quite an element of luck involved.

Yeah, there's only been 1 or 2 software updates since Revolution began, and one of them was just a slight increase in the font size of the player-names at the table.

I'm against re-entry tournaments. I'd rather have rebuys and not have to deal with paying an extra tournament fee.

Well if you bust don't re-enter. A change like this could increase prize pools by 10-25%. I don't mind paying the small fee to get back into a big tournament.

Dont mean to derail..

I don't play on lock but I hate re-entry tournaments because usually the regs buy-in multiple times and the fish buy-in once, meaning a greater % of better players in the field. Just what I noticed on FT..

Though this would help the ridiculous overlays they are paying.. Lock, if you actually like money do OPs suggestion

I dislike the idea of re-entries. MTT's are donkish enough atm as they are. No need for added variance if players who got their funds on 30% of the value play their deuces and gapped connectors like aces.

this is a slam dunk idea, and would completely solve any overlay problems they're having. although, i have to say that the last few days it seems like guarantees are for the most part being reached or coming close. as a lock player, i would rather they make their guarantees than getting play money overlays. maybe they have some chance of paying me if they're not handing out $10k in overlays every day (wishful thinking i know).

I am and I don't mind it at least not on the ring games but for MTTs the re-entry would mean the guy who sucked out twice and finally got it comes back to get lucky again. Naaa... no re-entry.
