Weekly Wednesday 2+2 users' Lock Deep Stack Tourney Thread! - Page 7 - Two Plus Two

Well guys...unless something drastically changes between now and tonight, I will not be playing in the game this week. Got some things to take care of and will be working tonight on night two of a 3-night project...BUT...I do encourage the rest of you to enjoy it and keep trying to get more players involved. I'll check out the results if the game hasn't finished by around 9:30pm EST or so.

Hey sorry about the lack of response on my part folks. Been a hectic schedule to say the least and got caught up in some discussions with Shane about Lock. I'll be more active with promotion - if anyone is around next week after Christmas, I'd love to play.

Not sure what everyone's plans are, but the Sunday before New Years Eve might be nice day to have a tournament. A lot of people can usually play then and it could be a special New Years Eve tournament.

Won't be playing much for the rest of the year (vacation), but starting in January, I will try to make the Wednesday tournament every week (or any other 2+2 tourneys).

Thanks Mccormick. I thought this Sunday would cool for a New Years type tourny. Maybe even two tournaments, 1 NLHE and 1 PLO 10+1 buy ins. Not sure if it would generate enough interest and also not sure if we could get it set up in time.

Ya, I mean I suck at PLO8 and basically don't know how to play the game, but for a 1 time New Year's thing I would play it. It would just be fun to mess around in lol. Do 1 No limit hold em tourny, 1 different tourny. Maybe other PLO8 players would be down. I could read up on the rules and strategy before Sunday and bring the noise lol.

and ya the tournament(s) would ideally be for Sunday so it would be on the 30th. Not sure if it can be done in time or if it has to be done with an affiliate. If it has to be done with an affiliate then I am not sure if IHasTehNutz would want to ask about this or not.

Sorry guys...haha. Been so busy with holiday stuff but finally clear of it now.

I'll see about the Sunday idea. As I told Xsjado, I am not too knowledgeable about PLO but perhaps if there is enough interest it could be done.

Anyone think of an appropriate time for the Sunday game?
