Haha...I entered last week to protect myself from having to worry about having it in my account, since most of the time I get my money off when it hits certain levels.

Is there any way to make this a winner-take-all if you get less than say 6 people? Could be a lot of fun. =)

Hmm...I probably could, but not for this one. I'd have to put that in place for the next game. Although I'm not sure I could specify the payout structure that succinctly - meaning I could make it a "winner take all", but not qualify it as a "winner take all if there's 6 players, and regular payout structure if there are more than 6".

If we get more players involved each week, we could do another "winner take all" style game like on Friday's or Saturday's or the like. Could be interesting indeed.

HU tourney would be the nuts. Now that I think about it we could do something for us multitable grinders. We could do a 6 Max, full ring HU and maybe PLO/NLH on Wed nights. Would be fun and would probably generate interest.

Well, perhaps so. My intention though was just to create a solid game where we had decently timed blinds with deep stacks so we could try to play some actual poker. Not really a big fan of the normal structures and dig a long game usually - but I understand online play. Just more or less trying to bring a live-game, big tourney feel with a small buy-in.

If you want to multi-table during the game, feel free...haha. I dunno...guess I'm a weird cat when it comes to poker.

Aaaahhhaaaa...yeah par for the course for me since my $99 loss in tourneys this past Sunday. Lasted all of 21 minutes this week...I suck.

Though I wasn't there to witness it (donked out early...haha), but congrats to Jameson812 for taking down the massive $25 first-place prize in tonight's action! Had 5, so we're up from 4 last week. Hopefully next week we will continue the increase - more players, obviously more fun atmosphere.

Just an idea, but if we wanted to increase participation, you could put the password in the description at the tournament lobby for a week or two. (Where it currently says " for 2+2 forum users.." on the right.) I don't know if many people even check the private tourny's, so it might be pointless, but who knows?

Sure could Chip - I even had a friend who wanted to play, but I didn't think with me "hosting" the game it would be appropriate. Kinda wanted to build it up from 2+2 users, but I'm open to suggestion.

Well, so glad that we finally got the tournament posted a day before it runs...lol. Shane has assured me that from now on, the tournament will be posted each week without me having to submit info for it, so hopefully that will mean no more delays by the tournament creation folks (who were said to have "forgot" about creating this one).
