I deposited using my debit card from a major US bank for $500 on 7/5/12. This is my 2nd deposit. I just logged on my bank's website and noticed that I've had 3 charges for $500, 2 of which are on 7/5

When I look at my statement, these two payments are classified as "processing".

To Lock Support: Can you please look into this today, this is unacceptable.

I would cancel the duplicate payment now if you have the chance. No telling how long it might be before you get a response from Lock.

Good question. I guess it depends on what the charges are showing up as. I know sometimes they show up as coming from merchants overseas. You might have to come up with a story based on who the charges are coming from. GL

In the future I would avoid using debit or credit cards at all costs. Its just too risky with these shady processors, p2p or WU is safest IMO.

I emailed support with a screenshot of my bank statement and my transfer history on Lock. Hopefully they can clear it up. I'm just depositing to get that sick bonus, so 2p2 isn't an option, and WU is a huge pain in the ass plus semi-high fees.

Hopefully they get this straightened out, and if I chose to deposit again, I think I'll just go take all the money out of my bank except $550.

GL man, hearing stuff like this is just scary because you'll almost certainly never get Lock to admit to charging you twice. That's if you get them to even respond to you in the first place.

The screenshot of your statement is all they need. If you dont get a fast reply from support just send me an emai and I will chase up the support team for you.

WTF!!!!!!! I wake up this morning and log on my bank's site hoping to see a payment reversed. Of course, nothing's changed with those payments, but wait! I have a new surprise. Two new charges from the same overseas merchant for $15.26, which are obv not deposits I've made. Oh, and I wasn't going to make an issue of this, but I was charged $508.74 for my two (and false 3rd) $500 deposit.

Going to have to cancel my debit card and get a new one now. Lock, this is complete BS.


Lol, want to say the same thing today, but clearly Lock doesn't care. I've been waiting ~2weeks to see why I haven't received any Ronin payments (I've raked >$3000 this month). That's annoying, but not a huge deal. This is, and Lock needs to contact me today and get this fixed.

I used my Visa for a deposit and the same thing happened to me. Apparently some Visa debit cards incur international charges when used overseas. Still probably worth it for all the extra $$$ in the bonuses, but it would have been nice to know that ahead of time. Hope you get this mess straightened out.

That explains the extra $8.74 which I could care less about. The 2 random charges for $15.26 are annoying though. I was charged $508 for my first deposit also, but I didn't get any more charges from the same merchant after that.

I just want the one $508 fee and the two additional $15 fee's taken care of.
