Re: Switching from rakeback to VIP

Shane,

I'm not sure if I'm on RB or VIP, my account is two days old and I'm not aware of making a decision but I would like to be on the VIP system. PMed you my account name.

Re: Switching from rakeback to VIP

You can see if you are on RB or VIP simply by openeing admin and look at the left side of the screen There it should either say Rakeback or VIP.

Re: Switching from rakeback to VIP

If you can rake 1500 per month you make way more in RB/selling points with the VIP program. If you can rake 750/month it's really close and I'd still probably go with VIP. If you rake less than 750/month stick with RB.

Rakeback is a straight 35% per month. The specifics of VIP can be found on lock's website.

Re: Switching from rakeback to VIP

I have sent him 6 PM's since start of June and only 1 has been answered. He probably ignored this one because I also asked to help with Lotto prize which I haven't received from last Thursday.

Yesterday I asked Rizen to help me with this (thanks again for relatively fast reply), he forwarded my mail to support which, no surprise, haven't responded yet.

Re: Switching from rakeback to VIP

Shane I sent you a PM and email about switching to VIP. Will the admin change to VIP on the left side as soon as I am switched over?

Re: Switching from rakeback to VIP

I am currently on the fixed rakeback, I earn points slower than someone on the vip program right?

How do I know when I reach 750 points per month? This would be less if you're on rakeback right?

Re: Switching from rakeback to VIP

What do you mean with "points"? The VIP Level is determined by rake paid. So you need 750$ of rake/fees to become Silver VIP.

The VIP points are onyl important for the deposit bonus and for the points to cash redemption. VIP levels, Ronin rakechase etc. is based on rake.

Re: Switching from rakeback to VIP

I strongly advise anyone that rakes $750 per month to go on VIP. I am pretty sure they are going to have to run promotions similar to Ronin every month to compete with Merge. The only months I could see them not running a promotion would be maybe November and December as those are usually peak times for poker rooms. I can assure you if they dump promotions like Ronin and don't offer anything else, it will be an easy choice to move to Merge, just based on value.
