I think that the population seems highest around 6pm EST to 11:30ish EST. Get in tournaments during that time, and you'll have more people in them.

Obviously this is all relative...when Lock has a lot of people "on" it's like 12000 whereas back when we all played on Stars it might be 200000. Not sure why they can't get more people.

I'll regret saying this, but I'm on the west coast as well (CA) and while I generally play full time based on how I feel or whatever i have going on for the day, I mainly play late. Generally study during the day (here, videos, etc.) and start around 4-5 our time with MTT's.

I have played and done ok during playing all day, but during the day it's just solid regs and just seems -EV. I purposely start late, even 7ish until ? as players on the east coast are dropping like flies or people are drunk. Plus, it's cool to go into 7-8am and being involved in pots with crazy Euros.

I only play MTT's though, so I don't know about cash or SNG's. The flip tourneys are a blast when drinking as are the 1k HU SNG's.
