Exclamation Slight change to when Rakeback & Cashback is paid.

We have made a slight change in when the rakeback and VIP payments are paid to players accounts.

Both of these payments still go our hourly, but with the following difference.

These payments are only paid after a tournament finishes or after a player leaves a ring game table.

So for example, if a player buys in to a tournament at 930am and that tournament finishes at 1030am then the rakeback/cashback on that tournament fee will get paid in the 11am payment.

And for cash games, if a player starts a session at 7pm and finishes at 930pm then the rakeback cashback for that session will be paid in the 10pm payment.

Re: Slight change to when Rakeback & Cashback is paid.

Can anyone confirm that they are in fact receiving rakeback payments today? (I am not trying to start a panic or anything, just looking for confirmation)

I do not seem to be receiving any rakeback right now, but I believe my account is a unique situation. When I spoke to a Lock Poker customer service rep, they told me I needed to contact the rep from my rakeback affiliate company. I suspect that when Lock initiated this new form of paying out rakeback, it had an affect on the way my account receives payments.

Shane, perhaps you could look into this for me? I have reached out to the rep for my affiliate but have not heard anything back yet.

A. Cashouts to skrill are taking 6+ weeks for non-US players while all other legitimate sites are able to do it in under 72 hours. There is no other explanation besides Lock not keeping segregated funds, having cashflow problems, and being insolvent.
B. You have refused to address this issue even though myself and several other posters have confronted you about it.
Please don't hijack a thread to ask a question that's been asked hundreds of times in other threads. He probably will not address that question in this thread.

Also, if as you say those are the only three explanations (there is no other explanation besides...), do you really think Shane or any other poker rep would answer the question?

There are two explanations why he does not answer these questions.
1. He does not have the answer or any information other than what he is given (most likely)
2. Answering the question is not in the best interest of Lock poker at this time (unlikely, but plausible).

If they had answers to give, they would give them. They don't, so just be patient and deal with it. Or run for the hills. Use the information available to you at this time and make a decision. Stop hijacking threads.

I haven't been receiving rake back either, I emailed Shane and talked to live chat, they said they are investigating the issue.

A. Current timeframes have nothing to do with insolvency or cash flow problems. They are entirely related processing in the current market. As I have said previously the notion that problems in the US market in no way affect ROW payments just isnt true. Players make many assumptions without having much of an idea of how things really work processing for online gaming. This is mostly due to the general lack of information made public by sites so they can continue to accept customers from a difficult market.

B. I have continued to answer with the updates I have as I get them. As I posted earlier this week I reached out to the cashier team on Monday to get updated processing times and they have promised to come back to me this week with that, as soon as I have it I will post it.

To everyone with the rakeback/cashback issues, I spoke to the lead dev earlier and he asked me to send any specific players over so I have done that and will update you all when I hear back.

It appears problem is fixed. This morning, at 8:00 AM, 8:03 AM, and 8:06 AM (all EST), I received rakeback payments for three sessions I played throughout the day yesterday.

I will update later on after I play a few sessions to see if rakeback payments are being paid on the hour after completion of a session (as Shane reports they should be now).

Update: I have been receiving rakeback payments throughout the day in the way that Shane described in OP.

Cool Re: Slight change to when Rakeback & Cashback is paid.

how will this play out for the rakechase does this mean people who are playing from 3pm est can play for 4 hours and 1 minute then leave the table (when the rakechase starts) and be ahead ? Or will you base it by the date the hand is played and deliver the rake accordingly?

I just wanted to say that the way lock pays rakeback is awesome. I LOVE the immediate (almost instant) rb payments

Re: Slight change to when Rakeback & Cashback is paid.

I played both the 109 and 215 today.... both were tickets I won. Do the fees from tickets not count for points/cashback? its been a few hours and in my admin page all it says is $3.90 paid in fees (from some smaller tourneys I played)

These tickets were won in cash satellites so a 109 ticket should act the same as 109 cash... so I should get my 15% from the 109 and 215 shouldnt I?

I pretty much only satellite into 109s or higher, so I hope its just that my admin page hasn't updated... otherwise in the long run I'm missing out on a decent amount of money.

I sent this over to the devs and they asked if I could get your account details so they can investigate. Please send me an email with your details and we will look into it.

Re: Slight change to when Rakeback & Cashback is paid.

hmm did you get my email with my info? Usually support is quick with an answer.. I was hoping to figure this out before Sunday... when I will play the 100k and High roller with tickets I hope to win. Maybe even the 70k... That's $54 in fees that I would hope to get cash back on... not to mention it would be nice if it counted towards VIP (1/3rd of the way to white VIP to start off the month)

I can only assume there was a mistake last Sunday, cause otherwise you would have said that that's how it works instead of asking for my info to look into it.

It would be great to eventually get that 15% off the 109 and 215 tickets I used. But honestly I'm just looking for a confirmation that we are supposed to receive cash back on the fees from tickets as well as if it counts towards VIP levels.

Just looking for a quick, "Yes, you should receive cash back etc on tickets..." or, "No, you should not receive cash back etc on tickets...."

Re: Slight change to when Rakeback & Cashback is paid.

quoted from support

"Hello,

Thank you for your email and apologies for the misunderstanding with the first reply.

I can confirm that FPPs/VIP Points are not awarded on tournament buyins when the buyin is made via a ticket. As such, you will not earn towards VIP Cashback or VIP Status from ticket buyins.

Thank you for understanding.

Kind Regards"

Does anyone else find this stupid?

when 11 people play a $10+1 for the 109 ticket (just an example) thats 1 $109 ticket + $1...

People put Cash into making that ticket.... if we Arent gonna get VIP points/status from ticket fees then satellite tickets won should only be worth $100 not $109

using the above example they should make all satellites pay out 1 $100 ticket and $10 to second.

Or like for the 70k GTD $530... make it so satellites that get 18 people at $30+3 dollars a person ($540 prizepool) pay out like this -> 1 $500 ticket and $40 for second.

Why should Lock get that Ticket Fee without paying out cashback or VIP status for it?

I don't know, I'm not explaining this very well, but hopefully u get the gist of it.

It's hard enough to accumulate enough in fees to unlock VIP status as strictly a tournament player, and now It's confirmed we are getting screwed over on the fees from tickets.

I never have and never will buy directly into a $109 + and I had planned on playing at least the 100k and High roller every sunday with tickets... That's $3.60 I feel like I'm missing out on every week and $24 towards VIP status EACH WEEK I don't get unless I use cash instead of tickets.

As petty as it sounds, kinda makes me wanna skip satellites altogether... Imagine if you satellited into the nightly $109 and $215.. which I'm sure some people do (or at least try to)... that's like $24 in fees a day right there... for a whole month roughly $700 in fee's... at the lowest VIP lvl you should get $105 back.... except you're not.

I just started playing like a month and a half ago. Unlocked lowest VIP at the end of last month, learned what I get for that, and then found out, "oh it's not even gonna matter since I satellite most of my stuff"

LOL obv this has pissed me off, sorry for the long post
