This promo is great. Ronin was always meant to reward the high-volume players. They are paying out significantly more rewards to the lower tiers now, so this promo is definitely a huge upgrade for the low-stakes grinders.

I did get zero, but I also understood the rules. I still got RB, points, and deposit bonuses the whole month...hard to complain too much. It's nice to see they are giving away more at the lower levels next month.

The rules were the same for everyone. If you didn't get money then who was to blame? If you want Ronin money then you have to play and generate rake. Much like a huge problem in US today, everyone is looking for a free handout. If they handout money without restrictions they will be bankrupt, again just like the US.

As far as Im aware this will be running the same as Ronin so RB Players require double the Rake/Fees amount to reach the levels.

I've never actually seen cash-game leaderboards in effect, but I could see that practically being a decent idea.

Look at the sng leaderboards on merge -- the guys shipping it month in month out are 6m hyper players. Or, for example, Battle of the Planets on stars -- it's dominated by guys playing 45s while it's almost impossible to ship one playing 18 mans.

FTP, on the other hand, successfully implemented a husng leaderboard that spurred husng traffic and provided a good promotion + extra value for husng players. Husngers regularly get the shaft (excluded from sng promos everywhere, almost never any special husng promos) and a leaderboard would attract grinders to the site and would make it an attractive option as long as it was worth a decent amount.

Differentiating LBs will obv cut value for the small fraction of players who would be winning the overall LBs on a regular basis, but would spread promotional value across stakes and gametypes much more effectively while adding more value to the average player's time on lock.

Ladybruin is correct. I got over 1k in rake paid but since I'm on rakeback it only counts as $500 and I only got $4.50 from ronin this month lol

I don't understand why they don't just do payouts at the end of the month based on how much you raked all month. That would keep people from trying if they can't play at the beginning of the month.

Blaq01, the August Ronin leaderboard shows only three players on pace for 21k+ rake. Cheers and good luck on a monster run in September.

Lock Reps/Excs., since the Battle of the Knight hasn't been rolled out in full, I have a suggestion. Make the lower levels unlimited. Make $1,000 in rake or less unlimited rewards. Using August Ronin as an example would have meant making Levels 11 and below unlimited rewards. I know that for September you have proposed increasing the rewards. But the damage to micro players was worse than expected and the proposed changes aren't nearly enough to solve the problem. In this thread alone you have players that have been on network from beginning playing a reasonable amount of action that got shafted in August.

Post #21 got 0% Ronin RB.

Post #31 Probably got 0% Ronin RB and seems to be like a lot of people gettting shafted by limited rewards and get slammed for no other reason then not being able to play at begininng of month.

Just make umlimited reward for $1,000 or less. Stop slamming the bottom part of your new network. When you think of poker sites with a lot of players, it isn't a lot of high rollers. It is a lot of casual/rec. players. August Ronin offered those players close to 0% rewards. The problem is worse than many thought and proposed is less than enough to fix it. Unlimited lower level rewards for BOTK is a better choice than the increased rewards stated so far.
