There are a couple of changes for September with a new rake chase and the updated weekly guarantees will be in effect as well. Rake chase Ronin is being replaced by the brand new promotion Battle of the Knights. There is a separate 2+2 for the details here: NEW PROMO: Battle of the Knights http://lockpoker.eu/promos/battle-of-the-knights/ Deposit bonus THEFUTURE - This will continue to work for all of September. http://lockpoker.eu/promos/welcome-bonus/ Recurring Promotions Lock Lotto will continue to run daily through September. http://lockpoker.eu/promos/lotto/ Tournaments The 110k GTD with Lock Pro Bounties and the 80K GTD High Roller with Lock Pro Bounties will continue to run weekly through September.Running for the entire month of September Lock Poker is running a new rake chase giving players a chance at 25,000 individual cash prizes, totalling over $2,000,000! Battle of the Knights Battle of the Knights will track your total MGR earned during the month. Every time you earn the required MGR for a level, you win a free cash reward, straight into your account. Rewards are paid hourly. Please note that there are limited amounts of prizes for each level. Click here to view the limits and levels. If you clear all the levels you could win over $45,000 straight into your account! re: SEPTEMBER PROMOTIONS
Sounds great! That knight's armor seems to be a tad loose though...

re: SEPTEMBER PROMOTIONS
Thanks for the update on this new promo. I didn't play much on August 1st and got locked out right away. Looking forward to the new month.

On the Knights page:

There is nothing to click. Would like to look at the limits, levels and number of prizes at each level. Hopefully corrected soon. |

You did not get locked out right away. You missed out on the first or second level of prizes perhaps. But you could have easily made it to the third or fourth level and any level higher than that for example. I missed the first day and a couple of the early levels as well because they filled up. But I was able to score some of the higher Ronin levels anyway. I think there are a lot of misconceptions about how this stuff works. You don't need to be one of the winners at the first level in order to be awarded a prize at the 20th level or whatever. |

I knew I should have written it down but August Ronin went something like this, first few levels locked out in 2 or 3 days, next few levels locked out in in about 5 days total, more levels locked only 7 days into month, etc. Plenty of people were locked out, if you don't see that then wow, and double wow with the "well you could still qualify for level 20". Most people aren't doing $6,350+ monthly rake. LOL. |
re: SEPTEMBER PROMOTIONS
Detailed haven't been released in full yet, but Battle of the Knights with limited rewards sounds like August Ronin by another name and therefore just fail.
Since it looks like it is LIMITED rewards, I welcome/request a Lock Rep to give us a detailed accounting of how the levels got lock out last month (see my post above). And expectations how this new promo isn't going to lock out the majority of players just days into September promo. |
re: SEPTEMBER PROMOTIONS
I'm just happy it's coming back so no complaints here

re: SEPTEMBER PROMOTIONS
MGR would be Rake minus RB?
+ minus any other decductions? Noob questions ik, just might as well clarify itt. |

re: SEPTEMBER PROMOTIONS
On the lockpoker website, it says THEFUTURE can only be used once, can someone confirm it has always said that but we can still use it an unlimited amount of times?

Rake chases by nature dont give the most value to the smaller players, but we have taken the data from Ronin and restructured it to give them more value. And to add some extra value we added the SnG leaderboard and leaderboard for ring games based on quality of play. |

Re: SEPTEMBER PROMOTIONS
Nice work Lock :thumb:
This is definitely THE site that rewards its players Funny thing, I never even knew the Lock Lotto was running in August. Is there a list of winners somewhere? Would I have received an email if I won? |

Battle of the Knights awards 25,000 prizes worth 2 million total. It's obvious to most of us, that it should be vastly superior to Ronin for ALL players, especially those at lower levels. Admit it, you just like to complain. |
Re: SEPTEMBER PROMOTIONS
schwatt - Yes, you receive an email if you win. Except for one exception (maybe more?) where a guy posted on here that he saw on their website that he had won which surprised him because he never got an email. But when I won I got an email and others have reported same.
The full list of winners is on the Lock Poker twitter page. |
Re: SEPTEMBER PROMOTIONS
In other news, I will be interested to see the changes for the rake thing but it mostly looks like the same thing at first reading. The leaderboard thing for ring-game and tourney stuff looks worthwhile.
Yet I won't be very involved in any of it due to timing of my vacation which happens to be at the beginning of Sept. |
re: SEPTEMBER PROMOTIONS
Sounds cool looking forward to the details

Re: SEPTEMBER PROMOTIONS
Maybe this info isn't available yet; but I'm wondering if the new Knights promo is going to have the same rules that Ronin had. Meaning, Rakeback players would be required to earn double the points to qualify at the same rate of VIP players.
