It just seems like there are a lot of situations that arise which gets people to put more money in while rake is being taken. With all the bounced checks and laggy pay outs going on, leaving players wondering if the site is broke it would just make sense for them to rigg the hands in order to make some more money off rake.
I opted to use my 1st post for this wonderful debate. Go play 1,000 hands live and keep track of every single one. Then play 1,000 online and compare the two. You will stay around the same winning %'s. It seems to "happen more often" because it does. It's not more times than live, it's just at a much faster rate. Some of the smartest people in the world have played or still play online poker, if it was rigged, it would have been outed by now. NOW, can we all PLEASE quit blaming variance on a site being rigged???
**Fun side note** My sickest beat ever was in a live WPT tournament. AAvsAA all in pre. I get 4 flushed for all of my chips but 185 and 5 people away from the money. From top 5 in chips to right before the bubble and missing out on $3k.
I'm sad just thinking about it
