Re: Revolutions New Software- When do you feel it will be introduced?
I really don't think Lock will have a new software anytime soon. I hope I'm wrong but I just don't see how they will specially with the mess they have had the last two months. The updated software is last on Locks list of things to do IMO.
Re: Revolutions New Software- When do you feel it will be introduced?
Has Lock ever commented on this? Looking forward to new software like everyone else. Still can't get my auto rebuy set correct and the tiling for multiple monitors is still an issue for many players.
Re: Revolutions New Software- When do you feel it will be introduced?
Bump for Lock rep comment. Should we assume there isn't any work being done on a new client? If there is, please say so. If it's going to be a long time then can your guys pause and make a few much needed fixes to the current client?
Re: Revolutions New Software- When do you feel it will be introduced?
it'd be pretty cool if Lock had someone around it's forums who actually answered questions like Carbon does with Chris and Ryan. the lack of responding to people lately is a joke. why pay for this forum if you rarely respond to anything?
Re: Revolutions New Software- When do you feel it will be introduced?
Give us some ****ing news already! This is pathetic that we need to beg to hear a statement from you guys (Shane, Rizen) about the software. So frustrating.
Re: Revolutions New Software- When do you feel it will be introduced?
Just curious, what is the general consensus on how much quality software costs to develop or buy?
I remember reading about FT trying to sell their assets, and at that time just the platform was valued at close to $100 million. Was that just because of rush poker? I'm surprised that software develoment costs as much as it does, but then I don't really know much about it.
So what are we talking about here? Are we speculating when Lock will make a $20mil investment? 10m? 50m? Or am I way off base?
Looking forward to it, if and when it ever happens.
Re: Revolutions New Software- When do you feel it will be introduced?
Yeah i honestly got no idea either, clueless why in the world it'd ever be that much, surely the cost can't be that high at all? I bet there's something else for FTP driving the cost up, or maybe that wasn't the cost to create it, but it was "what it was worth" ? mostly because of the brand name and the fact people liked the software?
No idea just guessing here but i mean paying people to create it surely can't cost that much :s
