This. I know post BF american games are generally slow on weekends, but SnGs are unbearably slow today.

Cash seems to be doing ok which is great, but most of the SnG regs came and left in a day. And then guys like me that want to stay (only because of structure and soft games, software is hard to deal with) but have no one to play with are forced back Merge

Shame because the structures are sooo amazing.

Couldn't agree more. Structure/rake are great but without games running there is no point in having them. Lock is risking losing players for good if the new Merge software is a big step forward. Lets hope for the best.

yea im really glad to have the ftp structures back too but the whole edge there was, as both above me said, having a player pool and being able to attempt to grind for ronin...with software issues, hem not being very stable and all the other ridiculous problems that have come up, they might have to re-do ronin or have a second one because so few people outside of cg can actually participate. i could also see extending the initial deposit bonus for the same reasons.

random side note: that ****ing "take my seat" button makes me want to punt kittens

Would they actually run black ops on this software? I have to believe they have new software in the works. If not, they just punted a stack. Had a nice little home at merge, now they are risking everything. For what? Lock is using endgame strategy in a game that never ends. It is beyond stupid.

i think the risk is +EV if revolution comes back with bug free software,ronin, and a series.

yes it is the same software as cake. I played cake poker for a while before I swtiched to lock almost a year ago. I hate the cake poker software and skin, I hope lock changes it

Considering how poorly they executed this launch, I have low expectations for the release date of any potentially new software. The Cake software needs alot of tweaks.

You all forget that even if they lose you they gain the entire cake network, and probably get a better cut than what they were getting from merge. You all need to invest in better computers if you're having issues. I've played on cake since bf and all I needed was a computer with 8 gb of ram to make it run properly. SNG traffic does suck though. Switch to cash I'll be glad to play with all of you.

site is GREAT for single tablers as far as anything more than 8+ tables is a nightmare.......have to press sit out button for each,screen popup is inconsistent, tables ur in arent highlighted in lobby, ect ect not even sure theres auto reload setting!?!?!?!?

im optimistic though, even stars took years to produce the software they have now, but if they could fix few of the more important functions id be more then content. i dont care much for carbons software but even there software has the basic functions needed that are missing in lock right now.
ALL in all id still take lock's promotions, bonuses, and vip program over all of the other sites and if they keep promos good and bring out a software anywhere in the ballpark of decent, i see them being King in US markets

Completely inappropriate and unprofessional for me to have voted in that poll, there was no ill intent behind it -honestly- I just lol because of the way the option was stated and voted- but that is absolutely no excuse, and my sincerest apologies to Lock. I wish Lock the best of luck in their new endevour and I'd like to be clear that I have no information or insight into how things are run at Lock- so I had no right to vote in a player poll whatsoever.
