Re: The return of Ronin! 1 million in cash prizes!

Haha, see what did there. I'm not going back on what I said earlier in this thread.

The launch of the new lock is pretty much a ****ing disaster so far. They should of delayed the whole damn launch a month or two.

Actually, if you bother to read what I wrote, you'd see that I said that there's cashier lag and nobody has actually lost any money. This is a big problem and something that needs to be addressed immediately, but Lock isn't stealing anybody's money.

Money is still missing from account. If that's lag, that's some hell of a ****ing lag because I stopped playing almost an hour and a half ago.

Re: The return of Ronin! 1 million in cash prizes!

Yeah, I was missing money for over an hour as well. Just got it back, played a husng and haven't gotten the winnings from that either.

It's very bad, but every indication is that the funds will come back eventually.

===

People are freaking out way too much over these things. It's ridiculous to suggest they're not tracking rake accurately and they won't pay players their rb and ronin winnings when the admin starts to function fully. Sure, launch has not been smoothest and the network has its fair share of problems (software needs work, terrible mtt payout structure and schedule, hassles with player admin and cashier) but the reactions here are completely overblown. We shouldn't expect launches to be perfect, cut Lock some slack here. Nobody could really say that Lock's launch thus far (remember, they've only been live for 3 days!) has been great or even good, but to suggest that they're screwing us out of money is absurd, and to say that they should cancel promos some players have already been grinding for and working towards is just a negative to the player pool and is taking away money (and equity) from anyone who has been playing. It's honestly a terrible suggestion.

Lock is certainly playable. Not polished, not good, but certainly decent and hopefully things will improve in the future (from what's been announced so far, I think within 6 months Revolution will certainly be the primary US option, far superior to merge), but right now is just the beginning and this is when there are going to be some bumps. I know some people are having problems, but I would suggest taking a few days away -- you're not going to be the only person emailing support and pm spamming shane about why the player admin is "broken" and you're not seeing your rakeback. If it's still an issue in a week, talk to them then when things have calmed to at least a manageable level and they have all the front and backend systems in place.
what launch? All they did was slap a new name on the network. LOL its still the same pile of **** it was before.

The full rollout of the player admin will happen in the next 48 hours, its sadly been held up by the bug that is being spoken of in this thread.

Someone else described this as lag, annoyingly that is the closest description that fits. The first time it happened it was about 3 hours, we were told it was fixed then it happend again for about an hour, we were again told it was fixed and there were a few more reports of it happening again today.

Our dev team had a more detailed conversation with the Revolution guys today to get to the bottom of it and ensure it doesn't continue to be a problem.

Which is why they're still a part of Merge, won't be running their own tournament schedule and vip system/promos (without a value cap), and aren't on Cake software while developing their own platform. They also definitely didn't change the raking method for cash games or any of the sng structures.

Give me a break

I don't understand this "we were told" and "had a more details conversation with the Revolution guys."

Aren't YOU guys the Revolution guys now? There are separate guys? Or are you talking with yourself?

This is your network, right? The "we were told" stuff works fine when you were with Merge. We know that you guys are a skin and Merge is your network and you communicate with them to find out this or that, etc.

But now that it's your own network it doesn't make any sense to me at all.

He must mean himself. "We", "I", "Iamshane"... was told that his new network isn't what everyone thought it was going to be. At least not revolutionary.

We have our inhouse dev team that build all of the Lock stuff and maintain our databases, Revolution still has a development team that built and maintains the network.

While we are all on the same team now and they may get merged at some point for now they are separate.

I included that detail to give you guys a better understanding of exactly what was happening. I can leave it out in future if it comes across as too much excuse making, just wanted to be as transparent as possible.

Thanks for using up more support time, Micro, for something that doesn't really matter at the moment.

Have the Ronin payments been going out? I have been receiving cashback, but I'm pretty sure I haven't seen a dollar from this promo yet...
