The motivation to create this thread was from a 2+2 member not happy with the leaderboard winners not being paid from June.. I was just going to reply, but thought it may be thread worthy..

"You are well within your right to be annoyed about the leaderboard payouts (lack of) and you deserve to seek answers.. But I think it's getting to the point where I have to ask "why are you and others still playing on Lock?"

We should all know by now how disgraceful and useless they are on all ends business.. Yet players continue to play on Lock Poker and continue to complain about their shortcomings? It's the old saying, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me"

1. Lock Lotto - I'm hoping McM can confirm this as I don't want to falsify the situation, but on June 19th McM was waiting on 4 iPads from 2 months previously. umakenocentsbro is also waiting on a lock hoody.......

2. Lock Pro Coaching sessions - Lock hasn't fulfilled the coaching sessions as were stated in an earlier promotion, (Again quoting McM who hasn't received coaching from February)

3. HEM2 for Black and Elite members - Looking at the 'Black and Elite free holdem manager 2' thread no player has stated they received a free copy of HEM2 as part of being black/elite on Lock

4. Leaderboard updates - Some 2+2ers stating that at times the leaderboard isn't updated for an entire week? (wouldn't think it was that hard to do..)

5. It takes months to receive a cashout? - The most blatant one. What is the point in playing if you can only cashout around 3-4 times a year? (IF THAT?!) Lock Poker even states that it takes 5-6 weeks to receive a Skrill withdrawal, this is beyond a joke..

I'm sure there are plenty of other shortcomings of Lock Poker that haven't been mentioned.

Fair enough for players who complain and vent with regards to their cashouts taking so long, alot of them came from early this year and foolishly (myself included) believed that members of Lock Poker exec. were trying to improve it's cashout times. However hearing about players who still have pending cashout requests from January and February and looking at IHasTehNutz cashout reports, Lock Poker leaves me with little confidence in believing that they are in fact improving..

I think the time has come where people need to stop complaining about software crashes, not receiving a promo, Lock promised me (insert lie here).. You have such a great resource here (2+2 forum) to research all that is Lock Poker and hopefully make an informed and unbiased decision on choosing whether to play or not. This should be the process for every pokersite and all poker hardware/software you choose to dive into in the future. Use that information and make responsible choices on how you decide to invest your hard earned dollars. Just remember that whilst continuing to play on Lock Poker (and any online poker site tbh) there is a chance that you may never realise the true value of your 'virtual' dollars.

*i apologise if I misquoted or falsely stated any of the above points. If anyone can prove otherwise can a mod please edit/remove the points in question as I don't want it to be fabricated. ie. umakenocentsbro may have received his/her lock poker hoody already

I received a free copy of HEM2 from Lock(already owned it, but I did receive a confirmed working code for another copy).

...Lock is still the worst run and shadiest company I've ever dealt with, so the spirit of your post rings true.

Nope. I guess this was back when Lock pretended to be a legit poker company.

Nice post FT.

All your points are very valid and I think we all agree that Lock is managed as bad as you could possibly manage an online poker site.

I also agree with you that players who play on Lock need to be willing to take their (mostly) ridiculous way of going about their daily business and the cashout situation... well we don't need to discuss it here once again.. but yes, it's ridiculous.

Right now any player playing on Lock should be willing to take the risk of losing their roll or wait anything from 3 weeks to 6 months for their money. Unless you're preparted to take that risk, don't play. If you don't mind the wager, do play cause the games are +EV.

But like I said, you need to be willing to wager on waiting to receive your cashouts or "maybe" not receive them if and when Lock goes down.

So no bitchin afterwards but plenty of room to complain on the current promotions and withdrawals while the ride still continues.

will lamenting count as bitching?

Naa I was more thinking along the lines of "I've just put $100 on the site and now they are gone. I want my money back" kinda threads.

I really do hope that everyone who has been waiting an unacceptable period of time for their cashouts do receive their money from Lock. However any new player should be aware that he or she is in for a gamble. If Lock does go down I have no sympathy for any new player moaning about their loss.

Personally I'm in for the gamble and will be until the final day.

Corrections in bold. Can't believe this guy still stands up for Lock/Revolution and justify < .33/$1 I'm guessing part owner but will never admit it.

Good idea, blame the player, not the corrupt shady piece of **** site and owners.

Good thread, but tbh, this stuff needs to get out to the masses so both regs and fish can see. This sub-forum is so limited; why hasn't some tech savvy individual created a website yet? I forgot the guys name, but the creator of "nickraineyisathief.com" is simply a genius! Just some food for thought.

I emailed Lock poker about getting a hoodie for the WSOP this year and they replied the next day and sent me a hoodie and a t-shirt for free and got it in like 3 days.. pretty nice of them! Still cant cash out but hey that was cool of them.

This video is the equivalent of the expectations of a refund from an activity that the US DOJ has deemed illegal as in payment processing.
