so i found out if you switch you don't start at the level you are at relative to your current MGR, you start from nothing. so you don't get white vip until you hit another $150 MGR while being a vip player. That sucks, I am at 750 MGR, but I doubt I'll hit that next month, so I think I'll just stay on RB for now.

If you're OCD like me and want to be certain you are maximizing your RB, just play 5K hands at your regular stakes on RB, then play 5K hands at VIP, and go with whichever one put more money into your account
This would be easy to do if you actually stayed at the level of your MGR when you switch... otherwise when you switch you have to play xx hands at no level, another xx hands at white, until you get to silver or whatever level you are going for. You'd have to play 2 months as a vip to figure out if it is worth it to discount not earning at your appropriate level until it is hit.

They must've changed that system then.. well, for good reason if so, but could inform the players

Yeah when I switched I immediately was put at the white VIP (I know this to be true since i was receiving the cash back). So if this wasn't the case for you than they either switched it or you got unlucky, unfortunately Lock doesn't seem to be perfectly consistent with these things.

I dont understand. I get RB and points. I played 50k hands last month, raked about 4k. It equated to about 51 percent cash back between the RB and points. If you get away from RB you can get more points at a faster rate? Am i maximizing how much i an make on this site?

From my understanding no. You would be better off with vip

VIP definately way better with your MGR, it's not even close.

Good deal sounds like I need to change it. Right now Vip points are worth $142 for 10k. If i go to straight pts do i earn more at a time or are they worth more? I dont quite understand how I would get more back.

You earn them double as fast, aswell as clear deposit bonus at double the rate, aswell as gain Rakechase levels at double the rate compared to RB.
