There shouldn't be any "clogged pipes" with regards to sending those items.

There is an excuse for everything.

Again, the store/Lock Lotto has been horrible for a year. So to blame this issue on a "recent changeover" is laughable.

Shane, when significant changes are made at Lock resulting in delays, why is the entire customer base not notified? Why are there no mass-emails sent out to explain this to customers? Why are there no explanations given to everyone? Your very own customers should not have to search for changes made for the company with which they are giving their business to. Lock should send out notifications to explain this in advance to avoid confusion, anger, etc.

This is a no-brainer. Your customers should not have had to come to Online Poker Forums to find out about Fair Play Technology, or changes in Lock's internal structure resulting in the delays of store items they ordered/earned. Lock can send out a notification upon signing on, or widespread emails, or even have a warning in the store itself about the delays. Informing your customers only upon their request and not in advance is weak Customer Service.

That's a good point vindictive. Even just posting an announcement notice on the software so that people could see it when they logged in would suffice. I seem to remember PokerStars having announcements like that.

But then what would we expect from a company that has somehow surpassed FTP as having the worst customer service in the industry?

This is why there was a recent changeover.

Shane, so realistically what, should be the expected wait time, when you purchase an item from the store?
07-26-2013 , 06:03 PM
I swear by god that I could run the Lock store and ship items myself clearing any requests on a daily basis given that Amzon and Spreadshirt are covered for funds to ship the products. Seriously my wife could do it while playing an MTT whie surfing for bargains on ebay at the same time.

How many people do you need to run your little online store? "They" sounds like a whole team to me.

I honestly have no idea yet, I haven't had a chance to meet with the new store manager yet after that happens I will have a better idea.

Lmao.

Seriously though, the fact that their store items are delayed at the same time as their withdrawal requests isn't a coincidence that can simply be placed on an employee change-over. You either have the records of the previous orders, or you don't. You either have the money to fulfill said orders or you don't. Unless this new employee is hand-sewing all your items or stealing electronics 1 by 1 from college campuses, there's little reason why it would take this long.

I've run an eBay store before, and I guarantee we handled more daily orders than Lock's store comes close to. As previously mentioned, it doesn't take long to figure out, nor for someone new to take over. Coincidences don't exist with Lock Poker.

Completely agreed with this, it really reeks of liquidity problems, unless maybe if they can get this sorted asap, but I don't see it happening.

Seriously doubt it's liquidity issues on why the stuff from the store is taking that long, whether they have liquidity issues is for another thread, they could hold back 1 max skrill payment and prob clear most if not all of there store backlog if that were really the problem. The thing's in there store are overpriced and out of date anyways, who the hell wants to buy a wii or Ipad 2nd gen anyways?

Personal opinion, its just like everything else with lock just poor management, communication, and everything else piled on top of that, I believe the new employee thing is a crock of ****, but what are they gonna say? We just have poor organization skills and suck at communication and can't even get it together to order a ipad for you online?
