Rizen, please try to have Merge add a $10Kgrtd PLO8 event! PLO8 mtts are more popular on Merge than PLO and yet PLO gets the 10K and PLO8 doesn't!... thanks!

This is obviously speculation, but I had a really bad thought last night. Merge came up with Poker Maximus to get us to deposit because they realize they are about to be busted.

Sort of like how FTP came up with multi entry tournaments before they went busto. ( I guess this assumes FTP knew it was coming )

People have called me paranoid before, but in the case of post BF, I don't think you can be too paranoid.

People have been asking for a tournament series for a really long time, Merge could be shut down tomorrow, but the tournament series is not any sort of indicator this will happen.

That is not crazy at all. In fact Bovada is running a tournament series the same exact time which is the only other major players in the USA Market. You would not think they would compete against each other unless something was up

ya its not like ftp ran a huge tourn series every 2 months or so....

Rizen: Can you please officially confirm this for me for the record:

Me and my roommate both have accounts on Lock Poker. I play nearly everyday while my roommate is a very casual and recreational player. Sometimes we both play at the same time from the same IP but I am in my room while he is either in his room or in the living room. But we have never ever played in the same tournament, SNG, cash table, or anything ever. We are very careful about this.

So question #1) I am under the impression that Merge/Lock's official policy regarding this situation is that me and my roommate can play in the same MTT but not cash table or SNG. Is this correct?

Question #2) Just to make sure, does this still apply to Poker Maximus events. I don't want Merge to suspend my account after I bink one of these donkaments just because my roommate was playing in the event too from the same IP.

I am being very careful and prudent and asking well in advance of the tournament series. I appreciate a response, thanks in advance.
