There was a point with around 130 people left when the server was dealing cards, but no one could sit. The software would just Auto-fold to the bb and deal the next hand. At this point the tounranment should have been cancelled. Instead it was paused, then restarted by an admin. Anyone who busted after that pause, restart, should be given an equity share.

First, I have not been paid anything. I did not make it to the official cancelation because I couldn't play after the 1000/2000 level.

Second, everyone at my table was "sitting in." I have a hard time believing that a large % of the field was screwed after the first break when 0% of that group was represented at my table.

Third, I was bumped off the site multiple times and had to move from my Mac to a PC in an effort to try anything to get back into the game. When I was able to get back on after being bumped the first time (the "first break" bump) everyone was "sitting out" and the tournament was officially "paused" by the "tournament floor" and then play resumed. The 2nd time, I logged back in after being bumped, again, everyone was "sitting out" and quickly returned within 30sec of my return (I had to watch my SB be open folded as Lock would not allow me to "take my seat").

If you weren't there for it, then you should know us "lucky" players were forced to watch everyone time out per action making play progress at a rate of fewer than 10hands/hr (post the 1000/2000 level). It's this lag and being D/C'd multiple times that makes me think that they were able to resolve the initial issues before the site became overwhelmed. However, Lock still probably let the tournament run for another hour before canceling it. The tournament is hardly running at the rate of 10hands/hr IMO.

For the record, I don't like hearing people brag about their payouts either. People who were compensated seem to have been fortunate enough to receive an inflated amount as fewer players were remaining in the field due to technical issues and not play.

Again, I think Lock should formally communicate with the players as to when tournaments were officially canceled and why. They also need to provide an explanation as to why they were canceled and why they were canceled when they were. By playing on their site I have agreed to their MTT cancelation policies. I think I am entitled to an explanation as to what occurred today and a detailed explanation as to Lock's resolution and why.

lag, the tourney completely stopped for a lot of players and kicked them off their tables and then would not re-connect, please refer to the earlier post in this thread, seemed to start a litle after 4:31 pm est and continue on for several hours. That is not lag, that is a problem with the site

I agree lock should say what was going on and why, I was able to get back in but had missed several hands and then it was hit or miss going forward, several people sat out numerous hands at my table, by choice or the fact they could not get on, I don't know. But judging all the circumstances involved the tourney should have been canceled early on, referring to the 100K

There were 2 distinct points of terrible lag. At the start of this thread Lock did indeed pause the tournament, this made the site error manageable. You can find all that in the thread too.

Yes, I have a hard time believing a large % of the field is compromised when 100% of my table was able to return within a 1min window of my return. If even 10% of the field were still experiencing issues, would that not be represented at my table (assuming it was 10 handed, I cannot remember if it was 10 or 9).

When I see 100% of my table take their entire time bank on pre flop decisions I also know something is wrong with the site. Just analyzing the information as presented to me, buddy.

And for the record, you're a total misogynist.

Re: no tables loading at all

When I came back from the initial lag, 7 players were sitting out and it remained that way for 20 minutes or so then one at a time they came in over the next 30 minutes or so. This created a very agressive push/fold mentally that not would have occurred under a normal deep stack tourney

Why can't I see the tournament lobbies from all the canceled events from 07/08/12?

If you think that 10% of the tournament couldn't have been affected because all 9 or 10 people at your table weren't then I would love to take you up on your offer to play me

Re: no tables loading at all

I have learned my lesson during the week while playing on lock, constantly being booted but it seemed to happen more when playing 3 or more tables. i cut down my volume on the site to try and avoid the tilt from being booted as often as i was . I just wish lock would get their stuff together and soon because it is becoming increasingly annoying.
