go to http://www.jaredhubbard.com/blog/inf...additions-faq/. the sng structures are fantastic..full tilt style super turbos are making a comeback. i think revolution will surpass merge in terms of software and traffic in the next few months if they continue improving.

Sad that multi-table SNGs arent going to be offered

They're starting off with 18s and 45s. A wise move to wait before adding all kinds if MTTSNGs that wont run, imho.

no not yet. i contacted holdem manager support a few days ago and they said they wont know until at least after the software comes out. they have to wait and see how much revolution has changed compared to cake to see if they have to make updates to holdem manager

well if it makes you feel any better, cake currently works fine for holdem manager 2 in tournies and cash games but only for tournies for holdem manager 1. im guessing the same will apply to revolution at launch since i dont expect them to make many changes except for tournie and sng schedules but i could be wrong.

After all the talk this week about PLO8 MTTs, they still haven't done s*** about it. In fact there is not a single decent PLO8, not a single one! And yet they have two $109 PLO MTTs on the schedule.

Very Very Excited about this.

revolution should realize that when it comes to tournaments, players are demanding Omaha Hi/low more than omaha high. buy-ins of all stake levels would bring in massive rake for the site; omaha8 is the fastest growing poker variant these days, lets do the right thing for poker players and offer more of these tourneys.

DON Regular speeds are LOL horrible. Turbo format is plenty slow enough to have one format. Need a 10/20 level, get rid of 40/80 and/or 60/120.

As expected Lock tried for way too many game types thus diluting the player pool to the point where regs won't show up in enough mass to provide liquidity for any format. Since most Lock regs have accounts on other Merge skins I expect a mass exodus of SNG regs back to Merge and Revolution SNGs to be as dead as Cake's were. Only the hypers have any chance IMO, but we won't know that til peak time.

On a positive note, software is better than expected and PT3 works with update.

I +1 getting rid of the "Extra" blinds in the DoN games. Each turbo DoN should last no longer than 30min. 40min is just way too long for a SNG to make 90% on your investment and nothing more.

I would remove 20/40 30/60 40/80 and 60/120. I would add the 10/20 level as well.

Yeah these middling levels are atrocious.

Is the software working yet? It told me to upgrade wich I did. Now when I launch the software it says Lock has encountered a serious error and shutdown. I deleted and re-downloaded from the site. This time...no upgrade message. Just straight to the same error message. I am hoping I jumped the gun and it isn't up and running yet. Pain in the A*s already.
