Keep forum open +100000000000

It's important that this stays on top of google searches when new players are researching about lock poker.

Agree, forum should 100% be kept open in some form. The poker world needs somewhere to report their shenanigans. I'm not sure Lock were contributing anything meaningful on most of the important questions in any case.

Obv they will tightly manage their own forum so that will be a waste of time and I imagine won't have much traffic at all.

Gambling911.com Publisher Chris Costigan, who has been involved in the online gambling sector since 1997, will also be participating on the exclusive Lock forum, offering his own unique perspective of the industry as a whole.
lol, Costigan's jounalistic integrity was blown long ago. Does Lock actually think anyone is interested in his tainted views on anything?

Well this forum has not been sponsored by Lock for months. That is why there are no ad banners. Basically Lock did that to themselves for not paying out the players in a reasonable manner. I would not be surprised if 2+2 keeps this forum open for sometime.

^^ don't worry, it will get posted in about 2 months from now.

They're aiming to process one batch per week.

If you want it quicker then just shoot an email to Shane ...

Not worried about them few $'s I have left on there. Just feel sorry for those who do have considerable big amounts on there and who just received another slap in the face by Shane and Lock.

Must be nice to not worry about the cash, in a way you're like Lock, they won't worry about your cash either.

The best part about Lock getting their own forum is that now all of their clients will see how sucky their customer service is.

Also how will they explain to new players who meet the GGR requirement the deal with all the questions about slow cash outs?

They've shot themselves in the foot, but they don't know it yet. Or perhaps they do and the joke is on us.

I've mentioned this in a couple of other threads but AFAIK, there is no intention by TPTB on 2p2 to shut down this forum.

I'm not sure why you thought we needed a new thread for a subject that has been discussed many, many times both in this forum and in an ATF thread about closing the forum. We haven't had any advertising for Lock for a few months now, nor do they owe 2+2 any money - this forum only remains here for the benefit of Lock players, but it seems quite possible it won't remain for long now anyway.

I think as long as they think there is a benefit to the players/posters in having the forum here they will, although it might be removed from the sidebar (or somehow otherwise moved so that it doesn't appear sponsored).

But that's just my opinion on the matter. All I know for sure is that Mat said he needed to discuss the issue with Mason.

I would think the overflow alone to other forums with all the lock threads being posted would be enough to keep this sub-forum around.

I tend to agree, the overflow into IP probably warrants keeping this forum around for the foreseeable future.

I certainly don't anticipate this forum being here forever. Lock is gone from the forums and stands a good chance (IMO) of being gone for good as a poker site within the relatively near future. But for now I think having a dedicated place for people to talk about Lock, and for people who are searching for Lock and issues on the internet to find the truth, is a good idea.

Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out shane. I bet Lock wouldn't be leaving if they were allowed to still advertise on 2 plus 2. Just goes to show how calculating Lock is and what bold faced liars their mgmt. was when they promised Matt a better effort 3 months ago. When their own employees stop getting paid the debacle that is lock will finally crash unfortunately with all players money with them.

They'd be able to get through their backlog faster if certain affiliates would stop posting here and bypassing their system, ruining their post approval times.

Once they get the Lock forum here closed, they hope to get through their backlog at their new forum sometime next month.

LOL^ do you really believe your rhetoric? Locks accounting department read this forum?
08-06-2013 , 12:23 PM
The forum is soooooo LOL. Everything has to have moderator's permission to be posted. The Forum guidelines are also LOL.
08-06-2013 , 12:25 PM
Some people aren't getting the joke. My post and otatop's reply are just poking fun at Lock, suggesting posting delays in their new forum will be like their cashout delays.

Now that this subforum is no longer sponsored, can we change the Lock Poker title to some sort of warning?

It has not been sponsored for months. Now it does not even have a rep. Guess a warning could be good but I think the majority will see all the negative threads.

I had the same thought. At this point, it would be a service to the greater poker community to prominently display a Lock warning.

Beware: Lock Poker
