New Lock exclusive forum - G911 reports New Lock exclusive forum - G911 reports

I have to admit I had to giggle over a lot of the lines, especially that Shane will be in charge of the new Lock forum and that Mister "we love Lock" Costigan gives his insight as well.

Full article on G911 can be found here.

There is a min GGR requirement for those looking to participate on the new forum.

My favorite part, what a joke.

Doesn't seem to be set to public yet despite the link on G911. I get re-directed to the front page.

Costigan, you should update "Lock Poker is one of the largest online poker sites, operating on the Revolution Network."

According to Shane there is no Revolution since the deal was never completed and the "mistake" should be now corrected with the rebranding of Cake to WinCake. I would actually love to check that forum out but with you on there... thanks but no thanks lol. At least AceKing is right when saying "...offering his own unique perspective of the industry as a whole...".

Your perspective is indeed unique.

Well that explains why I can't see it cause I haven't raked much this month but hold... doesn't that mean you will only get assistance with your cashout requests if you rake X amount. Nice!

So ****ing sick.

They're leaving 2p2 as well, as per Shane.

So a new forum where people who are just trying to leave the site will be ignored because they no longer rake enough.

WAY TO IMPROVE YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE LOCK THIS WAS DEFINITELY A SOLID MOVE.

Glad to see progress was made during my time away...Shane probably even knew this was coming yet still played along with that Q/A song and dance...just disgusting.

Tick tock, Lock. Tick tock.

Chris, when you read this, a couple of corrections for you.

"The company has decided to close their sponsored forum on the TwoPlusTwo.com posting forum and develop a solution of their own."

The forum hasn't been sponsored for over 3 months now, and they don't decide if it closes or not. More accurate would be "The company has decided to stop participating in the Lock forum on 2+2".

The error is also in the article headline.

Ggr is lifetime raked, and you need 100 min Ggr to participate in new forums.

Did you really expect an in depth research from G911 rather than them just publishing whatever Lock Poker wants?

This forum should stay open. It's the best resource for victimized players to discuss what's happening at the scam site, as well as drawing attention to the latest BS over there.

This forum will save a lot of people from being scammed in the future if it remains.

Nice quote from the Pokerfuse article regarding the "improvement":

Quote:
It will not be visible to non-customers or to search engine spiders. “We just want them to be real players,” Bridges added.
And the fun continues with post submissions depending on approval from moderators as mentioned by players in the thread that Shane created regarding it on 2+2.

So basically Shane will create about 30 IDs for himself, ask questions to himself, answer questions to himself, create fictional problems for himself, fix the fictional problems for himself and compliment himself on what a swell job he is doing? Real posts by real customers will be deleted.

" and Bridges has until now continued to respond to player questions".

When the **** did this EVER happen? Bridges has until now continued to avoid, dodge, and duck player questions.

I believe it's "gross gaming revenue", i.e. it includes casino play as well.

Every post viewed by a moderator before being seen in the forum.

Translation - we finally recognize that 2p2 customers are too smart to swallow our bull**** any longer, so we've decided to only respond to sheep....er, customers, who post solely in our heavily moderated, truth and complaint free environment.

We also hope this means that 2p2ers will no longer be able to track how ****ty our cash out times continue to be.

Lock joining the ranks of Chico Network, BetOnline, PayNoRake, etc -- the tiny, absolute bottom feeding rooms with no presence on 2+2 who just scam unsuspecting noobs.
08-05-2013 , 06:23 PM
whats gonna stop them from deleting posts and threads about its embarassing cashouts.
08-05-2013 , 06:43 PM
What would actually be fun is if everyone that can just flood their forum with posts and make a huge work load for Shane.

That is not adviseable if you have any money on lock or a payment being processed. Direct tie with your lock account on their forum. They can confiscate your money for posting incorrect/inappropriate stuff on their forums or are trying to harass them. Then again...if yo are already sure you aren't getting your money back anyway...

I love the player admin screenshot in G911's article though:

LOL Costigan

Exactly! It is exactly what they want! They don't want to hear anymore complaints. They are going to try to keep their forum all bubblegum and sugarsticks. There is no critisism, it will NOT be posted! They want to control what can/will be said. My question is will 2+2 actually close this thread(delete its contents such that new people cannot read this?)

You got to see some of the posts on this new forum, by a group of people who have NO CLUE that Lock is having any sort of problem at all.

I say let's blow up their WU cashout forum!

I hope 2+2 will keep this sub forum open and I'm pretty sure they will. The SEO value is immense let alone the information about Lock. Lock would take at least a year to push their forum past 2+2's ranking. Don't even think that their forum would rank since it is a closed forum.... doh!

AFAIK, Mat and Mason still need to discuss these recent developments but there are no immediate plans to quash this forum.
08-06-2013 , 12:34 AM
I was able to post in that forum, though my post is pending review by a mod.

I posted in the "Western Union" thread regarding my 2/19 pending cashout. Lets see if they delete it.
