New Lock Cashier New Lock Cashier

01-23-2012 , 11:21 AM
Hello 2+2ers, I know we've been discussing some exciting upcoming changes to withdrawal options and the cashier. Those of you that check the client regularly (and read the messages!) might already have seen this:

We are very excited to announce a new cashier launching next week! Not only will the cashier have a fresh new look but we will be introducing new withdrawal options (ie. bank wires) and a much faster turn around time.

This cashier is exclusive to Lock, as are the new withdrawal options.

For players that have a pending withdrawal in the Merge Network cashier if this has not been completed by January 30th, we will take care of moving this withdrawal over for you and this will not result in any delays in your withdrawal being processed. You will be first in line.

While we transition, all new withdrawals must be submitted via Lock Casino:

1. Click the Lock Casino tab in the lobby
2. Transfer the amount you wish to withdraw to casino
3. Click the withdraw button

If you have any questions, please contact Lock customer support at support@lockpoker.com.

Great news. Thanks for reposting this message since I didn't get to read the whole thing the first and only time it popped up on the client.

Jump off your Poker client and go back in and click your casino tab in the poker client. Your Internet browser should pop up with the poker > casino option to move the funds back and forth.

As far as I know this will not be happening and I believe this is a restriction by Skrill. I will ask so I can provide a more detailed answer though.

Thanks

Moneybookers/Skrill banned gaming transactions for US players years ago. From their TOS:

Quote:
Furthermore, it is strictly forbidden to send payments from a Moneybookers Account in connection with gambling or gambling services such as sports betting, casino games and poker games.

Well Skirll should be asked about this once again, as now that Wire Act is explained that should not be a problem....

That was an opinion written by the DOJ, which was great if not belated, and it might make any future online poker cases harder to prosecute in the future. But it wasn't a legal ruling that strikes down UIGEA and notifies all the banks to start processing poker transactions again. Because of the risk, uncertainty, and expense of litigation, I expect a lot of processors are going to wait for a ruling or legislative action before they welcome us poker players back with open arms.

will the bank wire transfers be a go for WA state?

I'm pretty sure we couldn't withdraw through the casino before, only the poker side. Can you confirm this?

I was wondering the same thing so I asked them.

Hello,

On February 1st we are launching our new cashier in the Casino which will have Western Union withdraws at a minimum of $50.00.

Lock is taking over withdrawals for an enhanced player experience, as we are completing check payouts at a faster rate, 2-3 weeks and offering new options such as Western Union and Wire in the near future. To request a payout, please follow the directions below:

1) Click the Lock Casino tab to launch the Casino in a new browser
2) Click the WITHDRAW button in the Overlay
3) Select Check by Courier from the drop down box and input the Amount.

Please let us know if you have any questions at all.
Sincere regards,

I assume the WU cashouts will be very fast and with a min of 50$ every player at every stake should benefit from this. Population should increase on Lock after all I wager^^

This guy has the reverse problem but I am sure the resolve won't change. Seems like an easy fix.

This may have something to do with you having an active casino bonus? Whether that is or isn't the case, PM me with a little more detail (amount) and I can have it taken care of.

Is the WU withdraw available to new players?

Do you have to deposit via WU first in order to w/draw with WU?
