OP I'm glad you're getting your $250 back.

Seems like you have had to jump through hoops to get it.

It's makes me wonder how this would have been handled if you didn't have someone from Merge to vouch for you and if you hadn't made a thread about it. It seems that the average Joe would have been screwed and would have probably never even received a response.

It seems you are being credited because Lock says it is the easiest thing to do in this situation even though they were not at fault.

I wonder if you "glitched off" $1500 or even more and you didn't have anybody on the inside at merge to vouch for you if they would still just credit your account. I highly doubt it.

However your perseverance paid off. GG

There was a different player on here named horseracing back in June or so who seemed not quite all there. Anyway, he rants and raves about how the site forced him to sign up for a $300 sng instead of the $5 thing he was attempting to and continually blames the site and the mistake they made, etc.

He also insulted Rizen out of nowhere and challenged him to a headsup match which was kind if odd. And he made several threats to sue lock for the $300 which were even more odd.

Anyway, lock eventually reimbursed that guy apparently which just stunned me because his behavior was awful plus I didn't feel he deserved compensation for something that was obviously his own mistake. And we all know that him attempting to sue would have gone nowhere and would have been way more hilarious.

So Rizen doesn't have to personally know you to get action on such things. But it definitely helps to go through him via this forum than to email support

Not sure their standards are the same now as back then.

Was more in the mood to relate the tale of that funny guy than make the point there.

Re: my whole roll blinded off while I was sleeping in a cash game, help!

Something just occurred to me. Has anyone actually tried to reproduce this problem by doing what OP actually said he thought he did? He thought he'd x'd out the table (presumably closed it by clicking the 'X' close button.) As he was taking a distressing call at the time it's possible that he did this while playing a hand thinking he'd just get timed out and sat out. What actually happens if you close the table window whilst still in a hand? Does the lobby re-open the table for you? What happens if you then do nothing once the table is re-opened?

Can anyone try it? (I don't have a Merge client any more.) I know it's a long shot but after all this talk of one in a billion glitches, I just wondered if it's something unusual but simpler. Probably not, but just a thought.

thanks man right when I was ready to give up, my rakeback affiliate suggested this forum. really glad he did. Hopefully they stand by their word. They did announce I was getting compensated publicly thru shane. I've still never been contacted by support thru email or anywhere beside being contacted thru pm on this site by shane and rizen.

This is pretty lame. Why do you think it's a defense to say you accused him of lying really early before anything was known? It's stupid to accuse someone right off the bat unless they have a reputation.

I don't understand why a couple people wanted to jump in right away and say "Liar!" but this is an awfully weak way to backpedal from it. This is why you keep your mouth shut if you really don't know anything. It's the internet, so you can even yell it in your home if it satisfies you, then you can refrain from prematurely posting it.

Re: my whole roll blinded off while I was sleeping in a cash game, help!

I'm going to fold 5,000 hands in a row and then claim it was a glitch...and I'll get like $50 in rakeback at the end. Score!!

ya buddy! its as easy as that! haha just kidding obv, go thru hell and writing pms everyday and posts everyday explaining yourself ! hahah

anyway shane was persistent with lock support and I received the money tonight, thanks to rizen and shane.

even though shane never seemed to change his opinion at least he did his job in a fair way and hes a loyal guy to the lock poker site. He continually sent emails on my behalf and made it happen in the end, thanks for everyones support.
