To be fair, this is the only tournament like 80% of the lock roster plays.

For those interested in Mark275 digging a large hole, you can continue following his exploits in this new thread:

Hopefully this one can stay on track now.

Any update on this?

Pretty big deal to see how Lock security deal with these issues.

I talked to Shane and he said he can't say anything yet until he hears from security. So i hope he comes here and update us soon.

this will take a long time... lock security takes forever

How does Lock typically handle multi-accounting or collusion? If an issue is found do they bump everyone up in the tourney and add on the additional winnings?

Just wondering because I reported two players and they haven't played any tournaments since I reported. Security stated that they reviewed the situation and that if there was an issue the appropriate actions were taken.

Thanks.

FWIW, IronMaiden7 is playing 1/2 PLO right now.

Pretty disappointing that Lock didn't freeze these account immediately.

I would guess after a long security review , they would like to welcome as there newest member to team lock pro Mt. Vesuvius .

Be patient guys, Lock's security team is on the case!

^^^LOL

The security team asked me to pass on the following statement:

We’re looking into situation as game integrity is something we take very seriously however we do not comment on security procedures or policies in the public arena.

They are looking into it but haven't frozen the accounts?

I understand not being able to talk about it but not freezing accounts is incompetence

Maybe if Lock confiscates the funds they can start paying out players who cashed out 6 months ago.

Why do u guys think Lock has a security dept ??

Shane, does Lock have a published policy/procedure on how instances of reported cheating are handled? Or is that a secret too?

And I know you can't share details of the investigation, I mean beside the public information that the poker community handed you, but can you at least tell us if you will share the outcome of the investigation and, if so, when we can expect to hear?

Security procedures are never publicised.

The main reason we have for this is the more we say the more opportunities we give people to find ways to avoid detection in security matters.

Recapping what I said early in this thread the one problem we had in this case was that while we have the screenshot we dont have the actual tweet that was mentioned so its hard for us to take the strongest option available for punishing players. But very importantly this incident has brought these accounts very much under the microscope both from the community and from the security team.
