Re: Mac users unable to play on Revolution??? (Yes! solution in thread)

WTF? When is this going to work on a MAC? Not happy that I had NO WARNING of this change. Don't bother telling me that I should have known. I don't live online. I want my f*cking money that I have tied up in there and have no way to get it until this is solved. Real professional you tools. Especially you Shane. You act like this is acceptable.

K, I got it to work. Thanks for the instructions (and FU to the Lock people who didn't do squat to help).

As stated by others, this platform is f*cking pathetic. Real impressive for 2012 smart guys. My 14 nephew could do better than this.

How did it not occur to any of you to take care of this BEFORE the switch? I mean, it's almost like you're all really horrible at your jobs or something.

The choice would be to go offline for a month or so while we develop new software or get live with another solution then develop the software.

Importantly we had to leave Merge to acquire Cake and create revolution, once that deal went down we had to move off Merge quickly.

People also seem to be under the assumption that there is nothing to do to switch networks, our dev team was working round the clock for the month leading up to the move so the move could happen. Im guessing its a case of out of sight out of mind, but on a code level there is a lot of work behind the scenes to make a poker room run and that means a lot of changes when you switch networks especially with a player base the size of ours.

I'm sure you're a busy man Shane, but it would be nice if you could respond to my PM and help me with my issue as support hasn't been much of a help.

Hey, lock support suggested i completely uninstall the software nd get rid of all files. Then redownload and run the update. This worked for me so good luck. And lock support was very timely in their response. Thanks guys.

Do you have any legitimate time table on this? Weeks? Months? Or just the standard "we are working on it"

Anyone else getting this problem?

I loaded up the new software, logged in with my email and password. Then it asks me to pick a screen name and an avatar. When I do, it tells me too many accounts were created from this address. Contact support.

wtf?

Re: Mac users unable to play on Revolution??? (Yes! solution in thread)

Not sure I'll be able to stick this out. Merge software to me was pretty bad, but Lock is unbearable. Gonna have to weigh a couple things and see how this irons out over the next week. As of today I'm prob gonna have to move back to Merge. No Poker Co Pilot + the worst software I've ever played on= Back to Merge. When it takes more concentration just work through the software then focus on hands its a problem.

Lock, get your software fixed ASAP. I think you wanna work with the players, and I can appreciate that, but you have to have a product in place that is functional. YOUR SOFTWARE IS NOT FUNCTIONAL. Fix that and I'll be back

Unless your development team is comprised of 12 year old children and space monkeys, I fail to understand how it took them a month to create that? Not only is it a hassle to install the program, but the software is way worse than before. Couldn't you just update the code in the original program to connect to the Revolution network rather than Merge? While the last software was no Full Tilt, it was acceptable and only had certain minor annoyances that were a nonissue.

Ummm, I don't believe they own the code for the Mac client when they were on Merge, they were renting it.

So, a compatible Mac client on a new network from scratch would take a little while.

I say give them a month or so to work on it and play on Merge till then.

Won't work on Mac until they have a native Mac client that every skin uses.
